DO NOT put it on your battery right after doing this.. the threads will be full of e-juice and might ruin your battery.. i found it easiest to just drip fill your cartos over a clean pill bottle until it drips into the bottle... then let them rest upside down for 10 min you can then use the juice in the bottle to fill the rest of your cartos (if there is enough in there to) otherwise just keep drip filling over the pill bottle and that way you know for sure they are filled to max capacity..

@TheRageQuitUK As doctor vapor seems to be away on extended vacation, I can give you my personal opinion, if nothing else, just so you have some feedback of some kind. I'm not familiar with a "Microlite" however the way I see it, if you're using a cartomizer, the condom fill is the way to go, I've used this method on several different PV's and the only thing that seems to change is what you're screwing your cartomizer into. Wipe the extra juice off the threads and your good to go!

@TheRageQuitUK Very true, also I find the Boge condoms to be just great for filling with, their a tight fit, so no juice seeps around the edge, and they are a bit longer than standard condoms. Once you get really comfortable with the "cap" or "condom" fill method, it may serve you well to order a 2.0 Ohm Boge cartomizer both for the great quality carto AND the caps they come with :D I'm glad I was able to help you even as little as I did. I really like this method, I use it myself with one little twist. I take the mouth piece off, and dip into the carto condom with that end. This is really just because I use a auto battery and this saves time cleaning the juice off the threads on the cartomizer ^^

I have the south beach smoke deluxe e-cig kit. it is only $60 and it amazing. the cartozmizers last forever so do the batteries. the throat hit and vapor production are perfect. i quit smoking real cigs the same day i got it.
and! if you do alot of crap with the e cig i have an idea id love to pass on and see if someone can make it a reality, the E pipe basically just a wooden 2 peice coat to fit snug over the e cig and where the bowl would be there will be a mirror to glow the bowl red and to refill the cartamizer the e pipe should be in two peices held together with a magnet at the spot the cartamizer unscrews
This is simply the worst way to fill a cartomizer. That is; unless you like the battery connector end, center tube, and cart condom full of juice. Messy, wastes alot of juice and requires a lot of cleanup. Instead,simply pop the top with a paper clip (bend the tip). Drip along the edge, in the same spot, until it starts pooling on top. This allows air to pass up through the other side. Put a few drops on the other side if it's not soaked yet, and you're done. No mess, no cleanup.
@zombiejesus94 It all depends on how you want to vape, man. I had a Blu and it was AWFUL. The whole thing was low quality from the beginning, the atomizers gunked from the beginning, and it all fell apart (LITERALLY) within 2 weeks. I hated Blu so much I went into competition against them for a while. My best suggestion is to watch the product reviews here on Doctor Vapor's channel and on the Zeecigs channel. Video was okay but you forgot something. If a person is using an automatic battery it can ruin an automatic battery if you do not clean up excess e juice. Even Doc vapour forgot to mention this. I actually do this method from the mouthpiece end of the cartomiser. When I see the juice start to bubble out of the battery contact end of the carto I stop, wait a few seconds then slowly plunge up and down, then wipe the carto, blow clean from contact end.
Yes, it works but I ruined an automatic battery doing this ! I must have overfilled and some juice must have seeped into the battery hole. I tried everything to save the battery but unfortunatly it was ruined ! Hey Doc, thanks for the videos. i'm a newbie to vaping and these have all seriously helped me. After trying a carto for the first time, i still can't find anything that comes close to the taste i get from dripping. I used this fill method on a brand new boge 3.0 ohm carto. I get a great TH and very good vapor as well but i cannot get any taste from my Eliquid whatsoever, It just tastes plain bland. Is this a known issue or am i doing something wrong?
Also, any positive or negative thoughts on the Bulldog 888? All I know, is that it is helping alot! No inhalers, nothing for awhile now. I started using 'tar bars' for about 3 weeks before the e cig. I looked up the Bulldog and it looks like a lot of the stuff you buy in the mall. At least it isn't over priced like that other Mall stuff. There are better ecigs out there. I hope you'll investigate your options. However, grats on quitting and i'm glad you found something that works for you.
Hello Doc! I starte watching your videos last night and, am enjoying them. I am new at this vaping thing. I bought a Bulldog 888 at a local gas station 3 days ago. In Ohio, these things are still a little taboo, so not much to choose from.Reason for purchase is due to my recent finding that I have COPD, Asthma. I find that I am breathing MUCH better, already! My cart has extruded threading. Will this method that you use work with this type? My cart condom is very short also. Any ideas?

@spaceystaceymm I couldn't say, never bought the GenJoye. I ended up upgrading to the eGo from my (insert brand name) starter kit and got a bunch of 510 clearomizers (minor pain in the ass) and an ego carto. You have to puncture the ego carto the same way, but it works fine for me when popped with a 20ga needle.
Since I only have one and the clearo-s are super fragile, I'm going with IKenVape cartos and based on the feedback, I'll be using the IKV 510's exclusively alongside the ego carto.

Since you posted this video, and several others that are very informative and perfect for newbs like myself, I figured I'd ask if this method works with the "genuine joytech" 510 carto, and if so, how much juice do you put in the cart condom, and do you still need to puncture the sac (for lack of a better term) on the mouthpiece side before you can use it? I'm just not a huge syringe and needle fan, and if I can avoid buying and storing a syringe I'd prefer that route.
You can experiment with the amount of juice to use. I would suggest starting with 1/4 cart cap of juice and working up from there, but a 1/2 would probably work. I"m not sure I know what you mean by puncture the sac so I can't answer that question.
@DoctorVapor From what I've seen there's a 1.5mm or so channel for a syringe past the 2 removable caps on the mouthpiece end. You're supposed to puncture the "port" with a (16ga needle) syringe and fill it with said syringe. I dont have the thing yet, so I'll find out myself when the time comes, but thanks Doc. I'll let you know once I figure out the details.
@secti0n31 i'd like to know how that works cause i've opened the mouthpiece off very easy but they've changed or aren't like others with the filling around a channel, they have another cart in it and if punctured it would ruin it and drip in ur mouth. you'd have to remove the cart in it or go thru the batt/screw in side

I am not familiar with the e9 model so I can't comment. You can get carts or cartos from just about any e-cig supplier. Do a quick search and find someone close to home to purchase them.
@MultiCakeMix Actually, the E9 model is sold by quite a few vendors under different names, so you can purchase carts from any of them. Some examples are green smoke, smoke51, red dragon, vapure, and some others too probably.
I just got a smokestik- where can I get a cartCondom? my carts have two little caps to them- yours look much bigger than what my stik comes with- please help- I don't want to carry aroung bent clips and such then dismantling my cart every time I want to go out n vape- especially at the bars/clubs- thanks in advance :)
There is no place to buy a cart condom. They come on KR808 and 510 cartomizers when you purchase them. They are the protective plastic pieces over the ends of the cartomizer.
I'm new to vaping - just ordered my start-up kit from V4L. This looks like a great method for filling, but I have a question: how thoroughly, if at all, does the atty end of the carto have to be wiped dry after doing this before attaching the battery? I'm a newbie, but it seems to me, intuitively, that getting juice on the battery contact would affect its performance.
Also, if you leave the plastic cap on, esp. for a top-off, how do you know much juice to use and when to stop filling? Tx!
Just a quick wipe would be fine if you have a manual battery (has a button). If you have an automatic battery (no button), then you should make sure that the the connector end of the cartomizer is very clean and that your catomizer is not leaking as this can cause your battery to die.
Use it till it breaks. If the cartomizer is still working, keep using it. The only reason to throw it away is if it gets a burned taste or there is some other kind of off flavor. But if that is not the case. Keep refilling till it quits working.

Thank goodness I saw DonDaBoomVape's link to this in ECF! I like this way better than popping the cap which I just saw in another of your videos. This is -way- easier. But my question is, how would you wash them to change flavors? Am I still stuck popping cap and boiling? Thank you for helping!
@mswysp Glad you liked the method MS. I didn't know Don had me linked, thats fantastic as Don is a vaping God in his own right and his posts helped me tremendously when I first started vaping. Cleaning is easy. I boil them for about 10 minutes and that will take most of the old flavor out. You can add a new flavor and it will quickly replace what ever old flavor is left after boiling. @mswysp Replacing the cap shouldn't be a problem. They go back together pretty well. I wouldn't worry too much about it. BTW, the new drip tips from NHaler (dot)com will fit a cartomizer with the cap removed. Make sure you get the tip that fits the 901/510 if you get a couple.

Great technique! I flooded mine a bit, but it only took about 15 seconds to blow it all out. Thanks for posting it. I think I will does this instead of dripping from now on.
This is a great filling method! Much easier than any other method I've seen thus far. No more playing with needles or breaking the little white end-caps of my KR808s :)
I usually vape them at 3.7v. But that is me. I perfer 3.7 to 6v most of the time depending on the juice I'm using. You can vape cartos at 6v but they will not last as long. 5v vaping is also very good.
@refeicul You just blow the excess back out into the cap if you flood it. I actually did this after I tried diluting a cart and had to blow it out, guess I didnt post it fast enough lol

hhey doc, i bought a e9 model from ecig.com. both of my carts burnt up, and i flooded one. looks like their site is down right now. do you know any other sites i can buy carts from? also i was wondering if i can buy one of those drip caps and use it for my e9 model. please write back!

I am not familiar with the e9 model so I can't comment. You can get carts or cartos from just about any e-cig supplier. Do a quick search and find someone close to home to purchase them.

@MultiCakeMix Actually, the E9 model is sold by quite a few vendors under different names, so you can purchase carts from any of them. Some examples are green smoke, smoke51, red dragon, vapure, and some others too probably.

I just got a smokestik- where can I get a cartCondom? my carts have two little caps to them- yours look much bigger than what my stik comes with- please help- I don't want to carry aroung bent clips and such then dismantling my cart every time I want to go out n vape- especially at the bars/clubs- thanks in advance :)

There is no place to buy a cart condom. They come on KR808 and 510 cartomizers when you purchase them. They are the protective plastic pieces over the ends of the cartomizer.

I'm new to vaping - just ordered my start-up kit from V4L. This looks like a great method for filling, but I have a question: how thoroughly, if at all, does the atty end of the carto have to be wiped dry after doing this before attaching the battery? I'm a newbie, but it seems to me, intuitively, that getting juice on the battery contact would affect its performance.
Also, if you leave the plastic cap on, esp. for a top-off, how do you know much juice to use and when to stop filling? Tx!

Just a quick wipe would be fine if you have a manual battery (has a button). If you have an automatic battery (no button), then you should make sure that the the connector end of the cartomizer is very clean and that your catomizer is not leaking as this can cause your battery to die.

Use it till it breaks. If the cartomizer is still working, keep using it. The only reason to throw it away is if it gets a burned taste or there is some other kind of off flavor. But if that is not the case. Keep refilling till it quits working.

thanks for the demo..have heard of this method but never saw it done or knew exaclty how...got my first batch of cartos on the way, have been using 510's since i started vaping, but i am getting a little tired of always having to drip in it, and carts just dont work very well, even with the mods ive tied,

I had to get a you tube account just so I can ask a question! You cant believe how timely this is for me, an extremely new vapor struggling with cart mods. Thank goodness I saw DonDaBoomVape's link to this in ECF! I like this way better than popping the cap which I just saw in another of your videos. This is -way- easier. But my question is, how would you wash them to change flavors? Am I still stuck popping cap and boiling? Thank you for helping!

@mswysp Glad you liked the method MS. I didn't know Don had me linked, thats fantastic as Don is a vaping God in his own right and his posts helped me tremendously when I first started vaping. Cleaning is easy. I boil them for about 10 minutes and that will take most of the old flavor out. You can add a new flavor and it will quickly replace what ever old flavor is left after boiling. @DoctorVapor Thanks for the swift reply and all you're doing to help the vaping community. Don linked to your video under the "Ask the Experts" section of ECF on 4-3-10. I guess I'm stuck popping the cap to clean them. Oh well. I really liked the "condom" method , and was hoping to clean them somehow as well without removing the cap. Too good to be true, haha. ( I heard replacing the cap is hit and miss, and wasn't too keen on vaping from the rubber topper) Thanks again!

@mswysp Replacing the cap shouldn't be a problem. They go back together pretty well. I wouldn't worry too much about it. BTW, the new drip tips from NHaler (dot)com will fit a cartomizer with the cap removed. Make sure you get the tip that fits the 901/510 if you get a couple.

I can't quite remember what I had in the carto that day. But it was probably just a standard PG Juice as that is what I use most often.

This is a great filling method! Much easier than any other method I've seen thus far. No more playing with needles or breaking the little white end-caps of my KR808s :)

Try blowing threw the atty end of the carto after you fill it. If you have any extra juice in there it should take care of it.

I usually vape them at 3.7v. But that is me. I perfer 3.7 to 6v most of the time depending on the juice I'm using. You can vape cartos at 6v but they will not last as long. 5v vaping is also very good.

@refeicul You just blow the excess back out into the cap if you flood it. I actually did this after I tried diluting a cart and had to blow it out, guess I didnt post it fast enough lol
