It seems bizarre that Suarez can be charged simply on the word of Patrice Evra. There seems to be no audio or video evidence of any use to the enquiry and consequently the FA seems to have made their decision based on Evra’s word alone.

Are you an FA hack or something?It's not that impressive a document other than it manages to say in 115 pages what it could've done in about half the amount.They knew your average fan wouldn't bother with 115 pages.The words 'possible' probably' or probably' occur 50 times exactly in relation to Suarez's use of the word 'negro'. Hardly conclusive, especially given total lack of video corroboration. 'Remarkable' ?

It seems bizarre that Suarez can be charged simply on the word of Patrice Evra. There seems to be no audio or video evidence of any use to the enquiry and consequently the FA seems to have made their decision based on Evra’s word alone.

It wasn't proven:the FA simply said (about 50 times in the report) that it was 'probable' that PE's account was what actually happened.Now:if the tables were turned 100% and it was Johnson accusing Nani of the same thing, same result (Nani banned) wld you Mancs be happy?

My work colleague is an Old Trafford season ticket holder and has been for 12 years. When I asked him what he thought, he said was shocked about the length of the ban but like me was of the opinion that the offence did warrant a suspension.
