He said "The third time's the charm."lol I watched this serie from 1982 until it ended. It used to drive me crazy. Just when you thought they were getting back together, something (or someone) would happen to mess it up. Still, that's what makes for good drama and keeps the audience interested.
Looking back in their own way, Gary and Valene's love was much more solid than JR's was with Sue Ellen. Gary never made Val feel that she was nothing without him which was alot more than could be said about JR.
this was before Valene had that accident which caused her to act nice sometimes and totally not herself the next.

Great video clip. Gary and Val are my favorite couple on Knots Landing. The writers kept them apart way too long.
