I am a professional storm spotter I hate to tell you this but in your video I dont see winds above 40 mph not a severe storm more heavy rain than anything you need to learn more about severe storms!!
How absolutely insane. That's NOT a microburst, the tree was hardly moving I'd say max wind 35-45mph at most. Omg, lol, if you think this is a storm? I'd hate to see your ridiculous reaction to a real storm..hahahahaha
That's weaker than I expected.. And I'm pretty sure that wasn't a microburst.. If a microburst had hit, you wouldnt have power and winds would have easily been 90+ mph...
@Shawnyy09 Plenty of people in my county did not have power after this microburst. We were lucky. And the winds do not have to be above 90 mph to be a microburst. Thanks for watching.
we were at school and when i got to second period i look out the window and its windy and rainy and then every one started screaming and i turn around to see pure white outside. omfg we are in a tornado at 10:00 in the morning! then the power went out and we had to get in the tornado position. after it went by we had to stay inside for two ours and every one was calling there parents because we had to go home early. best day ever at school because i forgot my math homework.
i was at the airport when it hit pretty much all the cars in the parking garage got soaked and everything on the ramp was getting blown around they spent a good 15 min cleaning up afterwards
@stormmoss It ripped up a shed behind my house, and it ripped siding from barns in the area. Some old barns didn't make it through the storm, they were victims of the wind.

Nice video! the low pressure system that was out of that thing was had a pressure of a cat 3 hurricane but the winds were not even close to that.
floridaboy0523 1 year ago
@floridaboy0523 A 100+ mph gust was measured just east Of Indianapolis and another 81 mph gust and about 5-6 tornadoes.
stormmoss 1 year ago
ya but those were just gusts hurricanes especially cat 2's and above have sustained hurricane force winds.
floridaboy0523 1 year ago
@floridaboy0523 I couldn't imagine sustained winds that high. Ugh Wouldn't have been much left around here if that happened.

It looked like dense fog it was raining so hard here. Are you a storm chaser?

calfan3 1 year ago
@calfan3 Very fast compact line that moved through. Caused alot of troubles though.
stormmoss 1 year ago
seems like western ohio got hit harder then eastern ohio because the line started to lose power
trucker908 1 year ago
@trucker908 And the dynamics started to move away as well. The low instability kept this from being even more historic.

Two sirens in 20 minutes in Richmond, KY...unsure of any actual damage. Also heard that a tornado touched down in Louisville. What a day
madbengalsfan85 1 year ago
@madbengalsfan85 Possibly around the area but I haven't seen any tornado confirmed in The Louisville area of responsibilty yet.
stormmoss 1 year ago
That hit us today here in West Alexandria, Ohio. We went on Tornado warning, and were in our areas at school. :/ Scary stuff.
