    Awesome work!!!

  • Now how special is that!

You light up any stage and command any audience! Your on top of your game ....

    Love it!!!

    1000 Stars!

  • I'm pissed at YouTube because this vid never showed in my subs when you posted it, and I've just now stumbled into it. GRR!!!!!

Jake, the true Delta Blues is so far before your time that it might even be before your father's time. And yet... you took on this jam with Mississippi Morris as if it's in your blood. It's primitive blues, the very root of where we are today, and you back yourself down and meet him on that level. I know of no other kids your age who even comprehend it. I'm in awe.

  • The next great blues player. Will look foward to seeing you perform in NYC soon

  • Out-bucking-standing, mate.

  • just love the blues Jake keep it up

  • When is your next big gig? I really get into the beat of this music

  • Excellent !!

  • Yeah! Really awesome. Keep up the good work.

    Yours, Hanno

  • Great work, Jake! I se you came into it cold, not even knowing what you were in for, but you winged it beautifully!

  • Thank you man! I've been plaing for a very long time- (2 1/2 years) . LOL! I love going to clubs and just jamming out with musicians. In some cases, musicians I don't even know.

Thanks again for your kind words.

  • nice nice nice... great slide playing

  • Very well done my friend !

    MIke...

  • Thanks Mike..This was a very on the spot invite to Jam with Blind Mississippi Morris, I didn't know what style of blues he played. I don't really play a straight delta/country blues type of music. Hard to do slide work with-out a bass guitarist backing you up tho. Check out the impromto Jam of Red House with the BB Kings All Stars, it starts slow & builds with some fun lead lick exchanges between me & the guitarist of BB Kings All Stars, Its an epic version, crowd luvd it, it was very fun...

  • Too bad I wasn't there. I'd have grabbed my bass and headed to the stage. I LOVE jammin the Blues. This looked like a GREAT time!

    Rick

PS: Just came over from your "Red House" video. You really tore it up over there too!

    Good show!

    Rick

  • Thanks Rick!

Really eppreciate it about Red House. I just went up there and played with the guys. It is really refreshing sometimes to play with profeshonials that really know what there doing.

    Thanks again!

    ~~Jake~~

  • You are right about the pro's. There is nothing like the feeling when it all falls togehter like this! This is part of what it means to be a musician. And you are a true musician in all the sense of the word!

It is an honor to know you, my friend!

    Rick
