What the world needs is the gospel this life is short. im all for bringing food and clothes and shelters but it all needs to be drenched in the gospel.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

I just wish this video would give some practical application to motivate the people who will just say " yeah, it sucks" and then go back to their busy self centered lifestyle!!!

I agree with you to an extent but I don't think it's all or nothing like that. I have helped out with convoy of hope, and I felt like it was wrong to only let the hungry have food if he or she would listen to the gospel. Life is short, but it's also a journey and some God simply use to plant seeds. I don't think you can say "he doesn't get it" from a 10 minute nooma video. I don't think these videos exist to simply stand on their own, they are not like the gospels.
God is the solution. for what is it for a man to gain the world and loose there soul. when he said God has blessed america i thought he was then going to say now we must go show his glory to the world, but he said we have to go out and bless the world. wow he doesn't get it. ya were suppose to go out and help the poor and needy but more important we need to carry the gospel.
there is a reason things are the way they are in this world and it is called sin. we took the amazing gift of free will that poured out from God's love and chose to rebel against Him... sin entered the world and the world is broken by sin's curse... there is hope though, through Jesus Christ we can be forgiven of our sin... I would be happy to tell any who are seriously curious or have questions... as for this singer, he said he doesn't know why he says what he says but he says it anyway...
