I just realized that neither rarity nor fluttershy are the animal team leader. The Team Leaders are designated by having borders on their vests and a small leg band with the team crest on it. Neither Rarity nor Fluttershy has either of these but there is a pony with the tan animal team vest that does. The animal team leader is in here at 1:43. She's a pinkish-purple unicorn with dark purple and light purple hair. She is leading the line at the back near the buildings.

This show reminds me of Power Puff Girls but toned down a bit for a younger audience. Even though almost all of the main cast are girls, it still is a good show. Even the characters seem similar:
