Only older xbox versions like xenon and falcon motherboards get rrod. (almost noone has them anymore except for jtags) Xbox 360 is amazing compared to the ps3. The only good game and online experience on ps3 is Little Big Planet LOL.

its a heating problem, bad airflow by terribly built fans in the back of the case, if your so desperate to have a XBOX instead of a superior PC than hardmod the back fans to something better.
the trick is you wrap the x box with the towel and let it run for 15 min and then restart. it makes it over hear and seals the wires up and sometimes works.
My friend payed $699 for the 60g PS3 at launch and $100 for a 1 year warranty. Got the yellow lights of death a month after his warranty expired and had to pay $150 for repairs. Meh, least 360 repairs it for free. Yall feel me?
