no tow lights, no checking to see if the steering is locked , thats all you need towing the car and the vehicle is beside you... self loader whee lift is the best with one ratchet strap to hold one wheel in..... your doing a good job but becareful

You should buy a GoPro digital camera. Quick easy mounting in like 2 seconds. Great video quality and sound and its water proof. I think it would be awsome for what you are doing.

Lets see; he just said he has to call it in? He never informed the police he was repo a car? You have to notify police before any repo and provide paperwork. I put an asshole like this in jail for this type of theft/ Another guy blew the crap outta repo truck and the car with a shotgun and the repo guy couldn't prove the guy did it hahahaha.....
Where I live they have to call it in before the attempt as well as when they have completed the job (if they manage complete the repo LOL) so that it can be logged and recorded as such.

They are a different breed than daytime ones. A bit spooky and all but it is way better for traffic is less to none on the streets and can run more accounts than during rush hour. Plus here in Az nighttime is the coolest time we ever get. And it is still 100 at 1 and 2 am most nights!!

Well anything smaller would be good I guess but depends on your preference. It will limit what you tow and check for regs on minimum trucks authorized for towing. And get you one and snag em!!

usually they will keep looking until they do. but it also depends on how long you've been "hiding" the car. most finance companies will keep handing out the "account" to other repo companies so you will have more than one looking for the same car. eventually they'll get it.
Depends on the bank whether they assign to different agents to try but most will start leagal action if the car is a decent value and when that happens yes people have been placed in jail but through a writ and the sheriff. Here anyway not sure about cali.

They are a different breed than daytime ones. A bit spooky and all but it is way better for traffic is less to none on the streets and can run more accounts than during rush hour. Plus here in Az nighttime is the coolest time we ever get. And it is still 100 at 1 and 2 am most nights!!

Missing payments or not, this kind of shit should be illegal. It's unsafe and *unnecessary* to repossess someone's car while they're out *driving it.*
Not to mention how unsafe it clearly was hooking it and towing it away. What if the car had unhooked while you were driving down the road because of your shoddy rush job?

If ppl like him did not repo the cars, the banks would not lend ppl like us money for them. Don't want your car to become a repo, own it outright or make payments.

Well thanks username.. I hooked it the same as if it were in someones driveway! No way should it be illegal... to keep a 30 or 40 thousand dollar and not pay should be illegal! Come on now... That was all good and legit and yes I get pumped up on all my repos! Some just more than others so I appreciate you stoppping by and watching...

Well anything smaller would be good I guess but depends on your preference. It will limit what you tow and check for regs on minimum trucks authorized for towing. And get you one and snag em!!

usually they will keep looking until they do. but it also depends on how long you've been "hiding" the car. most finance companies will keep handing out the "account" to other repo companies so you will have more than one looking for the same car. eventually they'll get it.

Depends on the bank whether they assign to different agents to try but most will start leagal action if the car is a decent value and when that happens yes people have been placed in jail but through a writ and the sheriff. Here anyway not sure about cali.

Hi CJ, well sure.. it depends on where you live for requirements or not and then getting everything you need and trying to get some clients.. Not easy and not a job or business for most folks. You can do it or you can't when it comes time to grab a car! The cash depends on the clients too! 150.00 and up depending now a days...

But I like the open road feel, also like the excitement of sneaking up late at night & napping someone ride ahaha... I think I would enjoy this line of work but like you said I guess its all about my area and finding people that would hire me.
