Today I been on world premiere "PETER AND THE WOLF LIVE ON STAGE" at Southbank Centre In London.

IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST FAIRYTALES I'VE EVER SEEN.

What would you call this type of animation? I used to love watching similar animations that where in Gaelic and German when I was young. They were mainly fairytales. Does anyone know what I mean? And does anyone know where I could find them? I'd love to see them again.

Suzie Templeton did something amazing. Instead of simply rerunning the classic, she injected dark humor and wrote characters full of(human)flaws. I loved it. It took my favorite fairy tale to a new level.

I thought this was TERRIBLE!!!

C'mon... a gun-toting Grandpa? The bird pooping on the cat? The 'thug' kid-hunter 'bullying' Peter into a dumpster in the begiining??? Prokofiev must be rolling in his grave right now. The animation and effect were 'cool'... too bad the producer missed the entire point of this story AND their intended (I assume) audience! NOT FOR KIDS!!!
