The university isn't as good as this video may purport it to be. The amount of funding and consequently quality of teaching and facilities varies considerably across departments (geography, biology and chemistry for instance have very poor facilities, whilst Engineering on the other hand has excellent facilities and is very well funded).

I have also heard many bad stories of poor teaching and facilities about the business school.

lol this video is so cheesy! I've been here for 5 years and its a great city and this is unlike the majority of student experiences. The funniest thing is it doesn't even mention the rain! Oh yeah the rainy season is from September to April wettest city in the UK.

p.s. keep away for the students union, go to the societies, go to the events, but the underlying core of the union is rotten and they will do anything to keep it that way.
