Well, I myself am getting a guitar soon (a fender stratocaster to be precise). The thing is alot of the people that buy guitar hero buy it because they either feel that they will have more fun with GH, or can't buy a guitar (expensive for a good one).

there is this thing called Guitar Hero Explorer where you can trade guitar hero songs with better ones ;) you will need a DVD burner and make a copy of Guitar Hero and thats all i know about it.
