Excellent presentation. I am sure that this idea would work in the U.S. but, I could easily see this solution taking off in a big way in other areas of the world. Bravo!
@benarchy1 In my 3 years studying architecture (at the time of this project) I hadnt seen anyone produce a bath house at all - in my year or the years above/below. That is until I did this - then the following year the final projects included several bath houses!
Great job man would say very talented , in fact I have two questions if you dont man dear friend... )
1st) Who is this french singer really loved this song ?
2nd) I see you made 2:02 video , it didn't take you long time to preview for exemple polygons on max when you used them ? becous I use max and play usually with polygons and take me crazy time to preview like even sometime 4 hours to preview only 2 minut video ... do you have any advise or anything I do wrong man ?
yeah, I'm planning on going to DAAP at UC for architecture when i get older. hopefully its not ALL modern though, I kinda like the style of older buildings but w/e. by UC's campus it appears to be mostly modern architecture with some buildings being less modern is my kinda style. so hopefully that passes onto its program also.
my teacher taught us not to have more than 40% glass because it feels uncomfortable sitting with their back towards glass, like exposed and stuff, how did ur teacher teach u?
@timofly with an open mind. my concept of clarity of thought and purity of water is further solidified with the plentiful use of glass in areas where people are only passing through or sitting in for a short period of time. The primary spaces within this design are beneath ground level.
dubai? its completely nothing dubai! It fits in perfectly within the context of a modern day british city, and the idea of a turkish/roman bath is something that was very current a few centuries ago in many areas around england. I suppose it would be very dubai if it was the tallest building in leeds with a multitude of exotic shapes and spaces..lol
at the end of this year im going to be presenting a year long project of our dreamhouse and hopefully ill be showing off one of these, beautiful animations. architecture 3 sure is fun!
yeah im working on my thesis atm.... might post some work when its done... not one to contribute to youtube though, just a viewer for the most part... but sure, youtube might get luky yet... keep up the good work mate
listen mate, fantastic project, i study architecture myself and i can only imagine how long that entire project took. very elegant and quite beautiful, i loved the feel of modern integrating with the traditional... its the kind of design which i personally think should be used more frequently in urban contexts. As for the renders, they were more than good... you are an architecture student, not a 3d visualisation major.. well done, should be proud of that work
that was an awesome comment, thanks a lot! Im glad my work is being appreciated and well received by a lot of people, and thanks again for your comment! Im in my final year now (6th year) and for my thesis project i'll try to make another animation to compliment my work - well, if i get time to! and IF i do it'll be decent, similar to the style of this and 'The Cinema' project, but the rendering will be better.
for an architecture course, and for a student who doesnt need to even do renders for a project as it isnt necessary, these were excellent renders. lol. its all about the added value.
thanks! its recently been researched and proven that stress can weaken the immune system and lowers the IQ of an individual! all the more reason to stay stress free... :)
hi, actually ı must say this is a great 3d movie.and as ı see ur so talented. ım just second grade and ı cant use these 3d stuff so good. where was ur project area. ın which country, city, ı really wondered. cuz u know, why; the subject is so close to me. ım turkish:Dbu ur modernisation of a tradational theme is good.
love the visual experience and renderings! well done! :) ok so u said a lot of time...i believe u!! hehe. cud u be more specific though? in our course we have around 4 months to do a project...come to think of it sounds right i guess. i mean till u come up with a good concept and research, level of detail etc...i've just started using 3ds max with acad...so obviously i'll take longer then you. but i'm just curious..how many days/months does it/did it take? (i'm in 3rd yr now btw) &10x 4 sharing!
hey thanks! well this was the first project in third year - i think it took AGES to design and get the layout/plans etc right.. then it took me about 2 weeks to model it up and get the renders out. i did a few all nighters but its worth it! lol.. check out my other vid - the cinema. i think that one is better as i time-managed better and was able to get a more visuals and a better overall walkthrough - even tho the video render wasnt the best it still showed wat i wanted!
yeah i can see what you mean...even adding the people makes a difference! but improvement definitely shows!! :) congrats again even with the latest of ur videos! fab! :) tc & 10x again
im thinking of doing architecture at uni but im not doin maths, physics, art, design or anythin like that at A-level, would i struggle getting through the course
nobody wans to see those pretty images without u explaining ur concept and how you solve the problems first. Convince me with your design solutions and its relationship with its context please.
This video was a very small part of my presentation - it gives the feeling of what my turkish bath is all about, thats all. If you saw the model I made, site model, presentation sheets, portfolio, research as well as this video - you would see the whole concept and design solution.
But cos this is youtube, all i can do is put the eye candy on.. :P
I like the main pool and the relaxation area and It seems to be a nice project! but don't you think that the space of the green roof (the chair with with plants) its gonna be too hot to relax... spaces that are closed and with a lot of glass tend to be extremely incofortable... you could add some opacity at that roof.
where are the plants? :(
crackmaster88 5 months ago
@crackmaster88 What are plants? joking.. For the purpose of the video (and render times) I couldn't add any plants :(
