a deleted scene is where they don't show a partuclar bit in a film e.g they in this epesode the don't realy shot this bit or like a film and the editor if it cut a bit out for a reason so the audence don't see it becaust is has no point to it

The pear bit was a reference to an earlier Doctor who hated them. And of course all the Housemartins and gibberish stuff was Tennant vamping because he knew it would be fast-forwarded.
