@HaruhiFanNumber1 I'm actually not a tremendous Haruhi fan, but I'm really hyped about this movie. Personally, I don't feel like many things happened in either the first or second season. The Melancholy Arc was made to flesh out the Haruhi world. Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody was probably conceived just to give background to this movie. The rest of the series felt like an intuitive method of characterization. In other words, I feel as though this is going to be the first major event in the Haruhi canon.

Hrm, Yukis face was shown as shocked, Yuki does not normally have facial expressions. Also Asahina is alive, we saw her earlier, Mikuru doesnt seem to recognise Kyon. My guess? Haruhi thought what it would have been like if she wasnt around, and this played out because of it, albeit Yuki and Asahina have changed into humans, and everyones memories of her, and whats connected to her (the SOS Brigade) have been erased, except Kyon, who must be trying to figure out why everythings changed.
