  • very good tutorial. I'm planning to record and watch NBA games on my monitor because my parents are usually taken over the tv, so i have to find some other ways to watch. This video help me a lot, thanks

  • Setup is easy and watching it looks easy. But can 2 users on seperate mac computers watch different channels at the same time? Say computer 1 is watching ch 7 how about computer 2? Does computer 2 have to watch what computer is watching ?

  • hmm,, very interesting setup

  • Thanks. Could you tell me how you have Fios hooked up? I'm not sure which coax cables to connect and split. Thanks.

  • The HDHomerun is an amazing device. I am running two on my home network hooked to Verizon FIOS. They suppliment the Cable Card in each Windows Media Center PC I have. So I can record 4 local HD channels from FIOS while recording from the Cable Card all at the same time. The HDHomerun software manages telling the computers how many tuners are already in use, and does the allocation for you. Not sure how well it works in the Mac scenario you demonstrated, but it's amazing in Windows MCE.

  • looks like a great product, though i am unsure whether I should buy it because it looks like it has some bugs.
