Hei guys. I'm looking for a game that I use to play back in the day. It was a modern war strategy games based on the Iraqi war. It was released in the beginning of the 21st century and it's one of the most fun games I've play. Please help me find it.

Can't comment on EU, it's a different breed of strategy game (more of war gaming than a true RTS). But of this list, I'd put SupCom as no. 1, followed closely by CoH and WiC. These strategy games are innovative for the RTS genre. C&C3 is good but suffers from the same mechanics of previous C&C titles (basically the same UI as Red Alert 2 and Generals) If only it had more automation.

@toxicitzi OMG you don't get what I'm saying. I play lots of RTS games with health bars and they are good. But in the game Men Of War, tanks have a physics based damage system. A shot head on from the front might not penetrate but a shot on the side might. Even if it penetrates it might not do any damage. If shell hits ammunition, tank goes boom. It might bounce around and kill the whole crew.

Seriously I have played tons of games with healthbars. Look at Men Of War to see WTF I'm saying!

@GrrrIamMad i'm still not totally sure why you started with health bars being the issue.. I have played a ton of RTS some of which have resistance to certain attacks due to the armor, or chance to penetrate different stuff, but I'm not sure now if we're talking the same thing here :/

In my opinion, newer strategies just can't get to the level of older ones. The best strategy in my opinion, is StarCraft. Publiced roughly 14 years ago. For me, its the only fast game, and only one you can properly competite with. I was literally shoked when this video didnt mention about it. It may be called to the best RTS ever; gameplay and units are in perfect balance. Something tells, that korean people watch StarCraft games instead of football.

I don't understand how Supreme Commander can rank so high. I tried playing it 3 times but always got confused... I need a RTS that I can jump in and out of, one that's easy to handle, like AoE, CoH, WC3 etc. Supreme commander is just too complicated and wants too acomplish too much.
