  • i had got from the uk had deliverd to usa it was this one uk site that delivery wordwide. it was only 15.99

  • wow, that was cheap. how did the tutorial work out for you, did you find it useful?

  • datal tool battery is the best

  • i know, it's amazing!

  • what the hell is the noise when you paste?

  • it was like a glitch in the noise when i was editing my video. I tried to remove it at the time but then i thought to hell with it.

  • Just so everyone who watches this knows, PSP 3000 models (the brand spankin new ones(not the PSPGO)) cannot be hacked. you will render your PSP as a brick (means the power will turn on, but the XMB (the psp software) will not load. the Datel Tool Pandora batteries do not work in the 3000 models.

  • Hi, thanks for the info. I wasn't really sure about this myself. It's been so long since I made the video new PSPs have come out since then and it's hard to keep track of all the different versions. Thanks again.

  • no problem, if it saves someone from trying to hack their brand new PSP and rendering it a piano black paperweight, im glad to post this info. although, there is now a way to put CFW on a 3000, but it doesnt stick at all, once the system is shut down, it reverts back to OFW

  • would this work on 2GB

  • yip, it'll work

  • Selling psp(phat) with custom firmware and 4gb memory stick. Pm me for more info

  • You only need to look at the first number. The last number corresponds to the location it was made.

So a PSP 1000 would be a 1000 model (fat) and it's origin would be at 0. The origins numbers are the same for all three models.

    0 - Japan, 1 - North America, 2 - Australia, 3 - English EU, 4 - Other EU, 5 - Korea, 6 - HongKong, 7 - Taiwan, 8 - Russia, 9 - China.

10, 11, and 12 are developer models, which are only given out by Sony.

  • Hi, thanks for the info, I really wasn't sure about the whole 1000 and 2000, and I was getting questions all the time asking about the difference. Thanks again.

  • hi, im getting a pandora battery soon. I was wondering if my psp 2003 with ofw 5.50 will be able to be hacked so i can put cfw on it?

  • Hi there, since the video was made there has been a lot of new versions of the PSP that has come out. To be honest I've never even heard of a PSP 2003. If you are referring to a PSP 3000, read the comments below, there's a lot of people asking the same question.

  • the psp's seem to have different numbers after them, some are 2000's 2001's etc...

  • my battery charger says its 5 vlts would it work on that battery?

  • If it's a PSP charger then it should work fine.

  • it works on phat and slim, but it only work as a battery for psp3000?????

  • I dont have a PSP 3000 so i'm not sure if it only works as a battery. sorry

  • well i got a 5.50 and it worked.but i dont dare to open this without askin this: can i open the psp with my 2 GB magic memstick (the one where i putted the install thing)???

  • If you mean can you switch on the PSP with the magic memory stick data still on your memory stick the answer is yes. Just be sure to switch back to the original battery again so it can boot into the PSP menu. You dont really need the magic memory stick software on your memory stick any more so you can link it back up tot he computer and deleted the files off it. It's pretty much useless if you've now got the CFW installed. To be honest, i'm really surprized the 5.50 worked.

  • so it will not work on firmware 5.03 or higher????

  • no, it will not work on firmware 5.03 or higher

  • that magig memstick file says lite.does it work on fat???

  • Yeah it will work on fat but make sure your current firmware isn't 5.03 as it will not work on this firmware. It must be lower than this.

  • I have a PSP Fat with OFW 5.03 does this work?

  • i have a 2 gigabyte mem stick will it work?

  • Yeah, it will work on 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB. hope this helps.

  • mines also a psp 3000 with 5.02 OFW will it still work *with the red battery*

  • ahhh... it's a PSP 3000. Custom Firmware isn't out yet for the PSP 3000 although the creator 'Dax' is working on it. At the minute, you can only put CFW onto a PSP and PSP Slim. Sorry

  • i know this is kind of late, but chickHEN is out know if you weren't a retard like me and updated to 5.50

  • dude, i have no idea what you're talking about

  • chickHEN is the latest hacker for psp 3000 just search it on google

  • yeah thanks elvis ^_^

  • can cfw work on my psp slim? because i just updated it to 5.03 not on 3000 but 2000 and i heard if you upgrade it to 5.03 on psp 3000 that it will block cfw?

  • apparenly it will not not work on psp 3000 but i've never tried it so I can't say it's true. Stick with the psp 2000 and you should be fine.

  • Would i be able to downgrade my psp which is on ofw 5.02 with this battery and magic memory stick

  • Yeah, you should be able to, there's no reason why you should be able to with a pandora battery and a magic memory stick. (See Video)

  • ei im trying to put cfw on my psp slim lite ofw 5.00

does i can apply this to make a pandora battery and put cfw on my psp.i already make a mms.please reply

  • hey i did all the things u did it worked fine and when i restarted my psp a blue screen came up with diff lang. and i clciked O and now my psp is version 1.50 is that ok?

  • hey, that should be fine. I've never heard of it being in a different language before but hey if it's version 1.50 now then it's ok. It must have just been the place the battery came from good luck!

  • dude i have psp slim and i'm trying to put cfw on it and when i put the pandora battery in the green light turns on but nothing else happens.and its running ofw 3.72 right now

  • Hi there,

Did you put the software onto the memory card like instructed on the video? - (MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING WINDOWS XP AND NOT WINDOWS VISTA!!!) Try this and get back to me.

  • can you tell me how to downgrade my psp, my version is 5.01...reply backkk

  • Watch the video... it'll tell you everything you need to know, what to get, where to get it and take you step by step through the entire process. It doesn't matter what version you PSP is, it should be downgradeable.

  • hey man its me again, i tried it step by step but for some reason when it comes to the bit whre it asks for the volume name and then writes some stuff after you hit enetr, then it asks to hit enter again so it can format the drive but everytime it comes up saying "Write error". i tried carrieng on and ignoring this massage by letting the files copy without formating but then when i try to start the psp in pandora mode all i get is a green light and nothing on the screen. help plz if you can tnx

  • by the way i have a old 2gb pro stick, one of the first onse that came out, other wise everything else im doing the same i even have the same battrey as you...... could it be my memory card?

  • Hi, I would try another memory card. It sounds like its at fault. BTW, did you format the card in the PSP before you enabled the USB. Sometimes this effects it. You must format the memory card in the PSP (not on the computer) before you enable the USB to copy the files.

  • yea tried everything, i think its cause im running vista, im gana get my m8 to try it for me on his xpm computer. hopefully it will work. if not then yea it must be my memory card cause the battrey deffinetly works since when i put it in the green lite comes on so... ill let u know how things go

  • yea dude it was cuase of vista i gave it to my m8 a nd he has xp, he done it and it works perfectly. so tnx. ps anyone with vista u will probebly have to get a frind to do it for u who has xp

  • hi, thanks for letting me know, i'll remember that in future

    ElvisPresleyNo1

  • Thanks mr. Wilson

  • gosh thats a lot of needsç

  • okay, thanks again, im not acually gonna use the Datel Tool Battery though, im gonna use their Battery Service Tool. i really had NO clue on how to do this until i saw your video, you went into so much more detail than everyone else.

    Thanks for the help!

  • no problem.

  • okay, but how long will it take to completely download 'em on my PSP?

  • well altogether it would take about 40 mins - maximum.

  • alrighty then,, how long does it take to even download the files on the computer, then the PSP itself???

  • Depending on the speed of your internet connection, it should take you no longer than 5-7 mins to download the files onto your computer. If you have a slow internet connection it could take 15-20 mins. Then it should take roughly about 25-30 mins installing the software onto the memory card (But when you do it once you dont have to install it again... just cut and paste the files on and off whenever you want them.)

  • okay, thanks for the info, because i was gonna use my Daxter Pak's 1GB memory stick to be on the safe side because i didnt know how much memory it took up. will it ruin my memory stick though?

  • no, not at all! It's just a series of files made to run with a pandoras battery. You can put them on and take them off when ever you want. The only files that could ever really harm your psp is like viruses made for completely frying a psp's motherboard.

  • M8 u are a legend you explained everything and was alot of help to me.. Fully respect you, keep up the gud work

  • no problem, thanks for the comment!

  • do u have to have 1gb and 4gb memory stick?

  • Hi, thanks for the comment, you need two memory cards. One of them should be a small capacity (128MB - 1GB) and the other should be a large capacity (4GB >). Your need the small capacity memory card to store the Magic Memory Card data on. It would be a waste to use a memory card with a large capicty for this as it takes up a miniscule amount of space. The Large capacity memory card is then used for storing games, music, movies etc. on once you have installed the CFW.

  • but when u got the software on the memory stick and then u installed cfw cant u just format the memory stick to make it a normal memory stick

  • yeah, you can if you want. I just decided to keep my 1GB memory card as my Magic Memory Stick but you can format it again and use it as a normal card as you dont really need the files on it anymore

  • ok thanks

  • sry, i meant 256mb*****

  • Hi, thaks for the comment. you can use it on a 256mb. The smaller the better really as the files that Catb50s Magic memory stick stick creator make on you PSP dont take up that much room so your perfectly fine a 256Mb memory stick

  • nice video, do you need a 1gb memory stick, or can you use a 526mb memory stick??? and is there actually anything other than 3.80 m33-5? is there 4.01 m33???

  • Also, I nearly forgot about your question on the firmware version... I've heared of a 3.90 m33-5 so if you google it, you might get it on the search.

  • Hi , was wondering are you using a phat psp or a slim psp on this video or will it work on both.

  • Hi there, I was working with a fat PSP but you can buy a slim pandora battery for your slim psp
