  • Oh wow, there is a LOT of crazy in the comments to this video!

  • great movies

  • haha i cant stop watching this movie.

  • It's funny because none of the top comments are actually about the trailer xD

  • I never was a fan of Star Trek but this movie was fucking awesome! J.J. Abrhams did a good job on it. It introduced Spock and Kirk in a good way, a way that made sense. The point is is that they did a good job on making the first ever chapter of the Star Trek franchise.

  • @SpyBreak101 "It introduced Spock and Kirk in a good way, a way that made sense." So it makes sense that a man from a planet full of logical people would have an affair with a student, and another man with a criminal record and on suspension can jump past cadet first class all the way up to Captain of the flag ship by being a lucky ass hole? I don't care if this movie bears the trek name or not it is an awful movie.

  • @Trekfreek K well that's your opinion that I don't give a shit about, I like the movie so you can't change that :)

  • @SpyBreak101 I'm not trying to change the fact you like the movie. What I'm trying to do is get people to think before they speak. Think... Is the movie good because I like it or is it good because it really is well made? What does "good" mean in the world of art, does it mean taste or is there more to it? You see millions of people, including me, love the JP-Godzilla movies. According to the definition of good art they are bad films, just like Sar Trek XI is not a BAD film.

  • @Trekfreek judging by your name..you sound like a trekkie

stop lurking in the comments and judge everyone's opinion on the movie

    jesus

  • @TheGrizzlyReaper78 @TheGrizzlyReaper78 1 I don't tell others what to do and you should not as well! 2 I don’t "lurk". 3 everyone judges people’s opinions. You just judged mine "judging by your name"! 4. Don't use the Lord's name as a curse word. How would you like it if people said "SHUT UP! THE GRIZZLYTREAPER78!!!!" Every time they were angry? Be sides he died for your sins don't turn his good name into a sin its self.

  • @Trekfreek woah, woah who gives a flying fuck about religion

i just said like a saying..

    damn..dont get soo worked up

anyway,if you really don't want anyone saying "shut up" at you, just ignore them

you have your own opinion and it doesnt matter what other people think of you

just state the opinion you want on the subject and dont reply to douchebags

because seeing how you reply to everyone is kinda like obsessive

if i made a mistake,i apologize but don't bother replying to idiots

  • @SpyBreak101 This movie sickens me. Not only because it was brainless, not only because it was full of plot holes and clichés, it was actually something worse. Writers of $tar Trek destroyed two civilisations just too show us some actions scenes and girls in underwear. They destroyed Romulus to give Nero his idiotic and nonsensical motivation, next they destroyed Vulcan just to get Spock and Uhura together, to show us contrived romance and please fangirls of cheap romances.

  • @SpyBreak101 And apparently now you can't be captain of brand new flagship of the Federation in no time, even if you have absolutely zero experience, and you are in fact asshole with criminal record, who, in cold blood executed defenceless romulan crew. That's what sickens me the most, message this movie is sending: You don't have to change for the better, you don't need to become a better man, you don't have to listen to reason. "Let go of logic. Do what feels right" Sickening

  • @1701EarlGrey All I said was I like the god damn movie why do you have to reply with 3 comments? God forbid everyone has their own opinion....

  • @SpyBreak101 Two comments, not tree. :) Also I don't forbid you to have your own opinion, I just express my own view on the matter

  • I can't believe this version never got shown in theaters. Even casual Trekkies would have flipped their shit at seeing Spock. Still, Nimoy got a HUGE cheer on opening night. Some people walking out were even saying "I'm so glad I avoided spoilers! I didn't know he was in it!"

  • @SG1Mitchell

Yeah, its unfortunate that Nimoy isn't sounding too good. I don't know how he is health-wise but he did sound good at all in this movie. However, I am glad that he was in it.

  • Well, despite all the negativity on here and in danger of returning to the topic, I personally was very surpised by this movie and really enjoyed it. As an avid fan of all the series, though less 'Enterprise' than the earlier ones, I'm looking forward to the sequel, as I feel this is the breath of fresh air the franchise needed.

  • @XxLiveToSingxX I see you had fun too eh? *sarcasm*

  • @KrinkutAlliance You have no idea... ><

  • @XxLiveToSingxX After what I've been through already, I have a good idea.

  • @Trekfreek -_-" Peace old man, don't wanna give you a hard time. Oh, and you do alot of personal attacks, just look at your past comments on this vid alone. Also to me. Fooling around with guys... Haha, I'm no slut, I'm an straight A student, but you wouldn't know that cause you have no idea who I am. Once again, peace, okay? Just drop this arguement and leave everyone be, no one likes the same stuff. Remember, "One's trash is another's treasure".

  • @XxLiveToSingxX You must learn to read your suffixes. I did not say "stop fooling around" (as in you are “a slut”) I said "Don't fool around" (as in don't ever have sex till you are married). All dads say that to young girls. It is not an accusation, its advice. “Straight A student”? Where do you go to school? Some schools let you slide by if you just show up. The school I went to would have flunked me if I got my prefixes, suffixes, pronouns, and adjectives wrong, like you just did.

  • its arguable that this is the best star trek movie ever conceived but one thing im sure of is that this is probably one of the best produced movie trailers that ive ever seen. it really gets you excited for the movie regardless of whether its a star trek movie or not. its presented from such a stylish point of view and the perfect clips were shown that really gives you enough insight into the movie that leaves you wanting more. although i have to admit the movie wasnt as good as the trailer.

  • Was it Captain Robert T. April who started the 5 Year Mission Program ?

Captain April would have Commanded the new USS Consitution NCC-1700 for a few years before transferring to the New USS Enterprise NCC-1701.

Robert April would have been a Rough and Tumble 23rd Century Version of Errol Flynn.

Robert April would have taken his Executive Officer,Christopher Pike, from the USS Constitution over to the New Enterprise NCC-1701 which would have been Fresh out of the Shipyard

  • it's always funny watching people hurt their social standing.

this is aimed at trekfreek and less (but in the general direction of) thwatedvillany.

keep going, you guys really do the world a valuable service of making people that less pathetinc than pretty much anyone else.

    good job, really, good job.

  • @legiosmortis WOW! Thanks dude and a good job to you to for being part of the team of losers who respond with hate. You sure achieved the lowest social standing of all time! GREAT WORK! Get over yourself and grow the hell up. It's just a movie; the worst movie ever, but still just a movie. Insulting people is just plain a waste of time and shows how ignorant you are about the world. You really need to get a life.

  • I enjoyed this movie, no it didn't have the intellectual prowess of an Ingmar Bergman film LOL, but I went because it provided me with adventure and escapism, which at the time in my life when this movie came out, I desperately needed (a caregiver to my father dying of pancreatic cancer.) For 2+ hours it allowed me an escape from my real life. So it was a good movie for ME. If someone didn't like it, that's cool, to each their own. Afterall it's Star Trek that brought us the idea of IDIC.

  • @Mousling1014 Now that's the kind of statement I can respect. The main reason you liked it is the same reason I like Godzilla films, adventure and escapism. The difference is I admit that they are bad movies.

  • @Trekfreek Who is this guy. Get over it

  • @Diablo123owns "Who am I, don't you know, aren’t you God?” Captain Kirk (Star Trek V). :-) Get over what; the hill, the mountain, the wall, the chair, the depression? Be specific kid. I'll tell you what, you stay in the distant past in a galaxy way far away and I'll keep working to improve the world so that someday Roddenberry’s vision of the future will come true. While you try to use the force and build light-sabers, my friends and I will continue to make better lap tops & improve hospitals.

  • @Trekfreek Sorry, but that wasn't directed at you.

    Aren't you cute though

  • @Trekfreek *sigh* I'm not starting an argument with someone who won't listen.. But I have one question; would you say all of this infront of thousands of people in real life to a 15 year old girl? I have a saying: "If you can't say something in someone's face with an audience, don't say it at all". Goodbye.

  • @XxLiveToSingxX *GRUNT...* There is an even older saying "Don't start something you can't finish." I did not start the personal attacks...you did. I wanted to have a calm rational discussion. You don't think I listen but I do. Disagreeing is not the same as not listening. Maybe someday you will understand that. Until then listen to your parents, do your home work, don't fool around with boys, and be home before dark.

  • CptChaos47 *applauses* good for you. I don't know why everyone else even bothers with Trekfreek. I can't watch anything about the new Star Trek without seeing that users trolling. I'm so tempted to tell him off, but I don't 'cause I know he won't listen..

  • @XxLiveToSingxX Good, because I'm going to tell you off. You like to watch Garbage? Go Ahead Watch Garbage. Just stop trying to censor people who disagree with your taste just because you can't back up your opinion with facts! We true intellectuals have a term that fits you, it's Communist. Because you think that the community only benefits if everyone thinks the same way you do! Freedom includes my right to point out why the movie is a bad movie to anyone who claims it’s good without proof.

  • I find it funny that no matter what clip I go to of the Star Trek reboot, Trekfreek is having arguments with people, bashing a movie he/she claims to despise, yet can't seem to stop talking about it.

  • @CptChaos47 It's like itching powder to me. I don't want to scratch but I just can't help it. I hate this movie with a vengeance! I’m not alone in this either other people hate it as much as I doo. You would not be getting this kind of reaction out of me if (A) it did not bear the Trek name, (B) was a made better than it was and or (C) was a genuine reboot. Instead we get a sequel prequel reboot made by people who never took a class in writing or film making.

  • @Trekfreek *facepalm* troll moar.

  • @CptChaos47 Swosh!!!! 2 points! I win!!! "He who rases a fist (stoops to insults) is the first to run out of ideas." HG Wells.

  • @CptChaos47 And you are a troll also for (A) pointing out stupid spelling errors, (B) responding with personal attacks instead of a constructive argument and (C) adding to the fuel of "maximum disruption and argument". The difference between an average Troll and me is that (A) I do research (B) I don't feed into personal attacks (C) I discuss my view points logically and calmly and (D) I have video clips to back up all my points. However, you what to wine just because someone disagrees with you.

  • @Trekfreek Nowhere did I personally attack you, unless you're counting me stating that you're a troll, which is what you are coming off as. Pointing out a spelling error is not really trolling, I simply pointed out that when you quote someone like Wells and claim that you have been studying film for 30 years, then constantly make silly spelling errors, it undermines your credibility. I didn't attack you as a person. "you WANT to wine just because someone disagrees with you. Speak for yourself

  • @CptChaos47 Out of the silent movie era who was the biggest film and Comedy genius? Most would say Charley Chaplin. Did you know that Charley Chaplin could not spell ether? Spelling is not a prerequisite for knowing film making and its history. Also did you know that Einstein could not spell and John of Ark could not read? Attacking people's ability to spell is a personal attack. Also jumping off the subject proves that it is you who wants to wine, and hate anyone who opposes you.

  • @Trekfreek Raises, not rases. Might want to look for spelling errors/typos before you try to sound smart by quoting Wells.

  • Where are Commodore Matt Decker and the Super Tough Starship Constellation in the New Timeline ....

Commodore Decker was like Captain Ahab if anyone Hurt his Beloved Starship and Crew..

  • @Roadracer987654321 Did you even read Moby Dick? Ahab did not care one bit about his crew. All he cared about was getting revenge for his lost leg. Also the movie sucked, and the new time line acts like the Star Wars universe. There is something better people could watch that has new stories with a star wars type universe...It's called Star Wars Clone Wars the series.

  • I thought this movie was great, I don't see why people hate it so much. The story was obviously well thought out. And just because it's an alternate reality, it doesn't mean the other reality is erased from existence. I mean, that's what the ALTERNATE is for. The other side of the black hole still existed after Nero went through, didn't it? Also, we get a chance to see how these new events will affect the characters, kind of like a fresh start or new beginning.

  • @evilshadowlover117 You thought that the story was well thought out? You must be joking. 2nd, it's not an alternate reality; it's an alternate time line. Which does mean TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager & ST: 1-10 are all erased. The other side of the black hole collapsed, just like the one that swallowed Vulcan. Everyone does "new beginnings", why couldn't they do something original like tell tales that were not told before? As a Trek film it fails. As an individual film Jaws 3D was better.

  • @Trekfreek hey the episodes still exists don't they? seriously making such a big deal just because they got "erased." like you can't watch them ever again -_- whatever, you're the one living in the 1960s. also, they used the old characters so the fans would be familiar with them, obviously. i mean, i personally thought it was fucking awesome to see little spock and kirk being their awesome selves.

  • @evilshadowlover117 1st I only lived in the 60's for 2 years, I don't even remember it. 2nd I true fan cares if the show that he or she grew up watching is no longer considered cannon. This is not like the Superman comics, where writers who hate America can have him renounce his citizenship. This is Trek, a work of perfect art created by the great bird of the Galaxy. 3rd they may have had the same names but they were not the same characters. Finally even as a standalone film it SUCKED!

  • @Trekfreek okay i can see that there's no getting through to you. so i'm just going to stop trying. but i will say this: if leonard nimoy thought the movie was good, then that's who i'm siding with. HA! and the movie got pretty good reviews, btw, so i'm apparently not the only one who loves this movie :D no matter how much you say it sucked.

  • Comment removed

  • @evilshadowlover117 Let me ask you something. Have you ever known an actor who was in a popular movie, even a bad one, who hated it? Let me help you with that... The answer is NO. Also, how many times do I have to tell you that reviews mean nothing? Liking a movie does not make it a good movie. Lots of people like “Titanic” and “Batman & Robin” but they are bad movies.

  • @Trekfreek hmm. i agree titanic was bad. i don't remember what batman and robin was about. well my point was that they had valid reasons to like it. and leonard nimoy is awesome. also, isn't it the same for you then? i mean hating a movie doesn't make it bad. unless you're someone that actually matters (like leonard nimoy). i love that we've been the only people commenting for a week now.

  • You did not like Titanic? But it was hailed by critics, was a huge hit in the theaters and DVD, and Kate Winslet loves it. I mean hating a movie doesn't make it bad, unless you're someone that actually matters (like Kate Winslet). If you have not caught on by now, I am being sarcastic. Nemoy is an actor; HE is not a politician, spiritual leader, or even God’s right hand angle. Also he is not the creator of Star Trek. HE does NOT MATTER.

  • @Trekfreek yes i caught on to your sarcasm. -_- but i've actually never heard the name kate winslet. though i've only been alive for 15 years. and, to me, he matters :P but what doesn't matter to me is your opinion. when it comes down to it, its all a matter of opinion. lets be done with this. you said you lived in the 1960s for 2 years? you're actually pretty old. don't you have anything better to do than to attack anyone who compliments this movie? your comments add up to like 874,019

  • @evilshadowlover117 Kate Winslet is the leading lady in the movie Titanic. Kid, when I was your age I spent my time doing home work and hanging with friends. I did not even have a computer, let alone waste my time on movies. I'm not old, I'm middle age. If you think this is an attack than you have not been watching the news. Here is an idea kid, how about you stay off the computer and make some friends in school.

  • @Trekfreek wow really? i knew that you were gonna talk to me in that way once i mentioned my age. seriously, i have an okay amount of friends, and with the idiots that go to my school, why the hell would i want any more? so i can conform to their idiotic tastes? i don't think so. and i'm involved with a lot of things at school, AND i'm a straight a student. at least this KID won't be monitoring some stupid video for any comment i dislike when i get to age forty. i'll actually have a life. :P

  • @evilshadowlover117 How are you going to get this life when your monitoring stupid videos for comments now? I have a life kid. But I also have wild stories to tell. Did you ever play "Hi Bob" or sneak into the opposite sex's shower with a camera? The fun in being young is getting into trouble so you have stories to tell when you’re older. Heck I have stories from when I was 34 (a different era). Maybe “the idiots” in your school aren’t so dumb after all. There’s more to life than straight A’s.

  • @Trekfreek ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? i knew you were dumb, but this is ridiculous! i had to leave my parents at 10 yrs old. i'm mature for my age, meaning i know theres so much more to life than those stupid games of yours. all those damn kids at my school do is cause trouble. is that what you were like? making life more difficult to those around you? i know life is short, and im going to accomplish all i can at this lifetime. THAT'S what life is about. dude, you need to grow the fuck up!

  • @evilshadowlover117 So, because you don't have parents, you and everyone around you must be a hard ass? You need to loosen up. My father worked ever since he was 8 years old by the time he was 16 he owned his own business, by the time he retired he was vice president of a major hotel. Do you think he was a hard ass? NO he was not. He still took the time to play "those stupid games". Life is hard, so you got to grab those fun moments while you can. You need to Loosen UP!

  • @Trekfreek i AM loose. the point i'm trying to make is that just because i'm a "kid," i'm not someone that'll ONLY waste time on doing such things. i'm lazy, and i'm a procrastinator, so yes, i do play around a lot. but that's why i'm striving to get more things done. the thing that set me off is, that you actually suggested for me to do what everyone else is doing, so i can kill some brain cells and time. just because you found out i'm 15. its like a choice between star trek and twilight.

  • Just saw this movie (03/27/11) and was pleased and disapointed. Good- effects and use of characters like Capt. Pike etc. Bad. This Movie totaly threw out the cannon of the series and movies. Also time travel crap used to make easy story telling. All actors did a great job in film, both in acting and adaptaion of character. Just cant believe that 45 years of story line is now out the window. Vulcan destroyed? Spocks mom dead? Capt Pike commands Ent. for short time? Bleah!!

  • @kadennis66 Well, not really. It takes place in an alternate reality which doesn't effect the canon of the series as a whole kind of like those shitty X-Men movies.

  • huj wie co

  • i dont care i loved this film i like STAR TREK i dont hate anything about star trek or the previous films and tv shows FACT

  • Bryan Riel and SullyIsPrime, get a room god damnit.

  • Thumbs up if lens flare ruined interior. What a twat! Birlliant film though!!

  • Thumbs up if you knew it was going to be kick-ass from the teaser.

  • Man this movie sucked, thumbs up for the real star trek series! :D

  • @Deniecu lol fail

    no thumps up

  • @legoindyshortround D:

But I like the real star trek series.. ]:

  • @Deniecu What makes this not "real"? Because it's new?

  • @ThwartedVillainy I didn't really study up on the movie, and I won't waste any time doing so. I watched it, it was crap, I complain :P

My reason for thinking it was crap was because.. there was no "star trek feeling" to it. It was just special effects shooting at you the whole movie, the plot wasn't really that good and the style of everything was just.. off.. w/e, to a fan of star trek tng and voyager, this wasn't a good movie, at least... not for me.. ^-^

  • @ThwartedVillainy. "I was a fan of the series" "Was" being the operative word. A true fan would hate this movie, and being a former fan you do know why!

  • @ThwartedVillainy. We don't care if it made money or not, it's a bad movie. Try reading instead of making up lies! It is tempting to be sarcastic and insulting to you but instead I will only say that the rules for film making are no different than in writing class in high school. Trek 09 failed on all counts it looks like they took 4 scripts written by 6 year olds and smashed them together to come up with “Wars Trek: The Early Years”

  • @Trekfreek Ah be careful dude...you are using "we" when really that is just your personal and very VERY strong opinion. I liked this movie. Sure it wasn't Star Trek, but it still was a good movie. I really don't think complaining about it is going to change anything. Accept it and move on dude, because right now I really don't think your opinion is changing anything...sorry

  • @ronnor001. Please Please!!!! Tell me why it is a Good movie. No one has given any real examples as why it is a good movie. And PLEASE prove your point without leaving the confines of the movie. If you can’t then PLEASE admit you like a bad movie. PS. Why can’t people just admit that they like a bad movie? I like some bad movies, Godzilla King of the Monsters is one of them. It’s not a crime to like bad movies you know.

  • @Trekfreek I don't think I have enough characters in this comment to go into detail, but I guess because the main reason was that it was a fun action adventure that had something of for everyone! Sure, your brain might not get much out of it, but this movie was very carefully designed to get into peoples minds and make them like it, if we wanted it to or not. (I went in open minded) I liked this movie. It was fun, witty, good action, and it gave the each character a moment to shine.

  • @ronnor001 "this movie was very carefully designed to get into people’s minds and make them like it, if we wanted it to or not." you mean like Disco or Rap or Hitler? You have to admit you liked him even though you did not want to.LOL just kidding. Thank you for coming out just a little. You may have not said it outright, but you just admitted it's a bad movie and you like it. :-) Finally.

  • @Trekfreek Oh and this movie was MUCH better then at least half the TNG movies. If you want an example of a bad star trek movie...Generations is a good example...or the Final Frontier....both are pretty sucky!

  • @ronnor001. You might have liked it more than those movies but those movies are good movies. It's Ok to hate good movies. I hate "The Last Emperor" and it's a really good movie.

  • @Trekfreek What?!

Your anology's are insulting and you are putting words in my mouth. Star Trek was an Space Adventure movie. I will admit that it wasn't Star Trek like we knew it, but it wasn't by any means a BAD movie. However, you are not saying it was an insult to Star Trek but are saying that it was a bad movie. Which it wasn't. I mean, did you even read the last part of my comment?! Please repeat to me my last sentence from my comment and tell me how the that means I like a bad movie?

  • @ronnor001 "you are not saying it was an insult to Star Trek but are saying that it was a bad movie" I'm saying both only separately. I separate my serials from individual movies. Take Mission Imposable 2 is it a good movie? Yes. Is it a good Mission Imposable? No, none of the MI movies are. ST:09 is a bad movie and a bad Star trek where Star Trek V is a bad movie but a good Star Trek.

  • @ronnor001 You said " Sure, your brain might not get much out of it, but this movie was very carefully designed to get into people’s minds and make them like it," that's the very definition of a modern bad movie.

  • @ronnor001 "Your analogy’s are insulting" How in what way do I insult you through my analogy of this movie. "and you are putting words in my mouth" Where did I do that? Did I say you said out right "I like a bad movie"? No. You should look up the meaning of curtain terms and phases before you use them, if you want to win this argument.

  • @ronnor001 By the way you still have failed to prove ST:09 is a good movie.

  • @ronnor001PS. Putting me on the defensive is not proving that Star Trek 09 is a good movie.

  • @Trekfreek Sigh....do I really have to do this? Comparing my phases to Hilter wasn't funny...it was insulting. You said that I basically said this movie was bad on one of your MANY comments. But I didn't, thus you are putting words in my mouth. All those movies you said are all YOUR opinions. They are not factt, no matter how much you want them to be...oh and TrekFreek? (this is ironic) The movie we are talking about it Star Trek 11, Star Trek 09 is Star Trek Insurrection. Are you a trek freak?

  • @ronnor001. Did I say that you were like Hitler? NO. Unlike Liberals I don't compare people who I disagree with to a n evil leader of an evil political group. My opinion is based on fact not other people’s opinions. The 09 in ST:09 stands for 2009, Insurrection is ST:9 or ST:IX, a true fan would know this. Please read my replies to ThwartedVillainy, so I won’t have to repeat myself yet again.

  • @Trekfreek ...well that is it...I have lost all respect for you now, Did you honestly just group an entire political group together and then except me to take you seriously. Holy shit dude...this is unbeleivable! No matter how MUCH you say about the story...everything you say is your own personal opinion. You simply didn't like the movie dude, it happens, accept that 90% of the people who went to see it, liked it. You can talk all you want....that will never change. So why are you still here?

  • @ThwartedVillainy. PS try this video. Star Trek? No, I believe it's called Star Wars

  • Comment removed

  • @ThwartedVillainy "You can't just copy other's opinions" Why not? You do it. I have given my reasons multiple times. Bad acting, bad story, 2 dimensional villain from Flash Gordon, young Kirk is the Bionic Boy, all purpose red goo, DESTINY, over a hundred plot holes that can only be filled by a comic book, Spock wishing Nero dead (I thought Vulcan’s were for logic), a cadet getting the flag ship after only one mission, and the film just jumped everywhere. There are lots more reasons it's bad.

  • @ThwartedVillainy. "Just after Spock loses both Vulcan and his mother in the attack, we sense his internal conflict on multiple levels, all done without dialogue." But his character is supposed to be controlling his emotions. Everything he did was way over the top for his character. And they all looked like they were just walking through their scenes as themselves. That's called BAD acting. The Story had no imagination, and I knew where the villain would strike and what he would say.

  • @Trekfreek I want your name >=\

  • @Austindude3954 Why kid? What good would it doo?

  • @Austindude3954 Teens ARE Kids!I "want your name >=\" '"cus thats what I am" Your name is my name to? So if we go out together we could hear people shout "There goes...."

  • @ThwartedVillainy. No Bad acting is when your reaction is either under what the situation requires or over the top. Bad acting is also jumping out of character to make a scene work. The movie’s actors just walked through the movie. Some were way over the top (Scotty), others could not make up their minds (both Spocks), but most just acted like they just woke up from a short nap. You like it and that’s...OK. But that does not make it a good movie.

  • @bellanton12 first I'm glad you like it even though I don't. But even if I did I would never say "it was awesome", because it is a bad movie. I do like some bad moves (Godzilla 1958) but I will not argue to people that don't like them. Also that "get over yourself" that people who worship this film tell people that know films. It does not mean what you think it means. Just because someone's opinion (based on fact) differs from yours (based on explosions) does not mean that person is conceited.

  • @ThwartedVillainy Once again you are poking at things yo know nothing about. University of Colorado is not a community college. I have read all the text books on film written dating back to 1909. I to have taken film classes, but mine was in a University not a community college like yours. From your assumption that I took theater in a community college, I deduce that you got your Associates in film & that your job in film is packaging DVDs. "Knife to gun fight" Connery, Yhe Untouchables.

  • @ThwartedVillainy Liar? Did you ever check out my channels? No you just assume that I did it to be cruel and sadistic. The brick wall is you. You won't listen nor will you even consider all sides with a logical mind. It's your way or the highway. My communication skills are just fine. Communication is a two way street, one talks the other listens. You need to learn to listen and not take every little thing personally. My generation has a name for people like you..."Hippy".

  • @ThwartedVillainy "IQ is a golf score"? Who are you, Biff Tannin? "Make like A Tree and Get out of here!" Making up things that do not make sense will not make you any smarter. Try doing some research before you type. Also where am I wrong? You act like a hippy; you tell everyone too "chill" than with no explanation you get angry and lash out like a stoner coming down from a huge high. Also you never check out the kind of person you are dealing with. "Know your opponent and know yourself."

  • @Trekfreek I'm telling you to chill out because you NEED TO CHILL OUT. Like half the comments on this video are from you and you alone screaming at the world about how everyone else is wrong and you alone are right. I really don't think you know what a hippy is, even though you sound old enough to have first hand experience. I also don't think you know what "stoner" means.

You're not my opponent. You're an anonymous douchebag who seems to waste his whole life on the internet. You're nothing.

  • @ThwartedVillainy The only one here that needs to chill out is you. Want proof look at what you typed..."NEED TO CHILL OUT". Why are you shouting and calling me a "douchebag" if you are chilled out? Why am I not shouting if I need to chill out? Also if you notice I did not call you a Hippy or a stoner I merely pointed out that you are acting like one. The subject is whether or not ST:XI sucks not who is a drug head or "doushebag". It does suck, even stronger than a Black hole.

  • @Trekfreek Jesus, you're a troll. You didn't answer to anything I said, you just made side points that nobody was talking about.

This all started because you couldn't make a valid argument against Star Trek and that's what annoyed me. Intellectual laziness and the refusal to correct it when confronted is infuriating.

I have a rather busy life outside this and you very clearly don't since you're here seemingly every hour of every day so there's no way I can out-type you and your dummy accounts.

  • @ThwartedVillainy Talk about self projecting...I started out telling you exactly what's wrong with the new movie and you go off on this insult tirade. It is you who could not keep an adult conversation, plus the more I pointed out what was wrong with this film you kept changing THE SUBJECT. I just went where you lead the conversation. If you don't like it you only have yourself to blame.

  • @ThwartedVillainy I have said many times, that other people can have their opposing opinions, I just expect people to back up their opinions with facts. Facts like story arks, plot points, moral points, and story points that would fit in the real world. The reason I'm so hard nose about this particular film should be obvious, I'm a Trek freak; that is why I call myself Trekfreek. This movie is not just a BAD movie, it also an insult to all things Trek. PS You're an ASS!

  • @KrinkutAlliance You obviously know nothing about Star Trek, watch my video "The True Meaning of Star Trek". I have pointed out many times why this movie is BAD! You might try reading my other comments. Trek haters like this film because they are Star Wars losers. This film has pop up swards, snow monsters, destiny, and magical black holes. All brain dead movie goers like that sort of thing. But Star Trek was about Ideas not destiny, or violence, or magic!

  • @KrinkutAlliance One other thing don't be a hypocrite! You are “flame” on me after asking for my opinion! I only pointed out why it is a bad film. It is people like you that keep feeding the proverbial fire. You don't like my opinion and don't want to discuss it in an adult manner than ignore it. Don't get mad or spiteful. Act like an adult not a little child who did not get the toy he wanted.

  • @KrinkutAlliance Ooooo nice one! Not only did you self project but you used my own words against me while at the same time act outraged on a small comment making it look like a catastrophe. Great Job! You should be a politician! Here is an idea! How about you stop asking questions you don't want the answers to.

  • @KrinkutAlliance Keep going Jr.; you’re not helping yourself one bit. It is you who assume things. Did you even watch "The True Meaning of Star Trek, or "Star Trek Origins: Kirk"? I don't think so. You go around picking fights while hiding your true first name & age. You only have two videos, both pointless. I normally don't go on and on about a person’s attitude but you are just plain irritating as hell. So here is my last bit of professional advice as a psychology student. GROW UP! GET A LIFE!

  • @17thknight Why are you calling complete strangers that you never talked to before names? Don't you have anything better to do kid?

  • @Trekfreek

Says the guy who pretty much does the exact same thing to anyone who doesn't share his opinion of the new movie.

  • @F14ace WHO THE F&^@ ARE YOU? I never called you names! Re read my posts I never call people names who disagree with my likes and dislikes. Disagreeing with people is not “name calling” and neither is telling them to grow up! SO, GROW UP KID! Stating that you’re wrong is not “name calling”! Asking for more than the same BS review lines posted on Shitty Tomatoes is not “name calling”! Pointing out The definition of bad is not taste is not “name calling”! See a pattern here? GOOD!
