The remake is perfect in everything, but audio...Andross's no long bad ass laugh, Fox sound like o mix of him and slippy from the original. I personally didn't buy this, mainly becuase i have the original!

I have an Alouatta Seniculus (Red Howler Monkey) as a pet. Andross' hair split and beard are exactly the same. Sometimes I think whether Andross was based off this species of monkey.

If you know how to play, the star wolf part is simple to beat. See those pillars? You shoot starwolf (make sure they are facing the pillar) When you shoot them, they somersault and crash into the pillar. You don't get points, but I got this in 5 secs flat

@Flameracer777 Oh cool did not know that. What I do is just rapidly go in a circle and shoot at them and them fire bombs at the main pillar to take it out fast. I think I might do a speedrun playthrough soon though

just make them fly straight into the pillar and shoot them. If you don't, they'll either fly through it or fly around it. Its not bad, but you dont get any kill points so you can't any medals

On the other hand, you can skip their cutscene and shot them while they are coming down onto the planet. They are very east to beat.

When i was like 4 or 5 years old, the only thing why i didnt finished Star Fox 64 was because of the ****in fear i got from the andross face, and his laugh (I was very tiny). Have you gotten the medals in Score Attack? And I don't think you can use the Landmaster in multiplayer on the 3DS port. :(

@furygun81 Yes, I've gotten at least a bronze medal on every leven in score attack. If the landmaster and on-foot options aren't in multiplayer, then I know i will have wasted my money on this game.

Well I don't think those options are there because the levels are more intricate and take place higher up, so if you're on foot you can't scale the buildings and towers to restore your health.

Yeah its just an arcade shooter really...I dunno why you're so surprised. It's been known to be short ever since it came out in 1997. But it takes quite a few playthroughs to do every planet and find all of the secret paths
