Bishop Blake Interview

In 1907 God filled our Founder, Bishop Charles H. Mason, with the Holy Ghost. Exactly 100 years later, God Hand-selected this anointed Man of God, Bishop Charles E. Blake, to lead us again in the Fire of the Holy Spirit! It is no accident that Bishop Blake is stationed in the same city where the Holy Spirit was poured out upon our Founder. God is awesome and His understanding is unsearchable!!!

I know! The Bible says in Luke 1:17 that John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah. Well, Bishop Blake is operating under the same anointing that God gave to Bishop Mason. Many people don't talk about this anymore, but Bishop Mason's original vision for the Church of God in Christ was one of ecumenical and interracial pursuits. For decades we in the Church of God in Christ have been very proud of our "Blackness" and rightly so. But Bishop Blake is preaching unity as did Mason.
