  • eishh just if he had joined in 1985, he could have been on the 50 all time

  • he was amazing,........but with his height you dont need much of arc(not so hard)

  • @DH12C yeah yeah it's not that hard, I mean look at Shaq, Howard, Ewing, and the other centers that could do this...fail!

  • @DH12C tell that to Shaq...

  • @ehrro

what are you talking about, shaq wasnt able to get a normal grip on the ball(false excuse "big hands")at FTs.

Get some education, and then try to give some advices.

  • @ehrro

Не вређајте ујке.Њихово постојање требало би да их вређа,нисмо сви православљу окренули леђа.

    Сотоне покатоличене.

  • i believe Sabonis can shoot 3pointer 's more accurate that Shaq FT's :)

  • i watched this guy practice once i swear he didnt miss for 5 minutes

  • lithuanian jordan

  • would have taken the NBA by a storm had he entered earlier. Its a shame but dont take anythign away from his greatness

  • Marciulionis geresnis.

  • @sadatas3 galva pasigydik abeli tu krw

  • Shaq's dream to shoot like this

  • does he ever miss ? xD

  • I remember when Sabonis couldn't walk after operation of Achill tendon, and journalists came to his teams workout, they found him siting on the ground and making 3 point shots. Showed about 5-6 shots, all where accurate. I saw it on tv. Even without legs he couldn't live without basketball. So this video is nothing:)

  • Much NBA profesional players, coaches, says, that if not the cold war politics - Sabonis could be one of the greatest players, like Jordan and etc.

  • Wow. And neither one of them even smirked or said anything. Like he does it all the time.

  • Why is Ray Allen dressed up like Arvydas Sabonis in this video?

  • poor net

  • Better 3 pt shooter than some SG,PG,SF.

  • @epicguo yeah, 20% 3-point shooting really is better than 32.8%

  • @fun4joke and yao ming sstars with 22 year, sabonis with 31 or something

  • @vitorbastos123 well Sabonis was 31 years old when he entered in NBA, yet still managed to have double double in playoffs

  • @fun4joke Thats what I was saying, Sabonis is better than Yao Ming

  • @vitorbastos123 no way i disagree with that completely

  • @fun4joke haha, you r right :) smart boy

  • ask olajuwon to do that!

  • no miss? wow awesome!!!

  • Shaq is better 3 pointer then him da...

  • it's sick

  • Till the age of 15, in his team he played as Point Guard, thats why he can make so good passes, and shoot 3pts well :)

  • hes 7'3!.

  • Lithuania Jordan ;DD (Y) Awesome player ;]

  • knees jiggle when he jumps

  • @kleansr haha funny stuff lol wobble wobble

  • Only 2 or 3 shots actually grazed the rim!

  • 0:42 >>> missed shots

  • Ай да Саб!!!!! Ни куя себе дает!!!!

  • gizzzz in my pants

  • its practical automatic for him....

  • Shaq you stil have to learn

  • @edwinlt 1000000% true

  • sabonis was so talented to bad he didint stay in the league that long sigh if he was with the blazers longer before the series in 2000 they would have won

  • @RoboRoadKill true

  • Sabas is best because he's from Lithuania, Kaunas. So yeah.

  • @Ignatauskas tai kas is to kad jis is kauno...nereikia cia isgirt tos Lietuvos

  • what is up with the scary music in backround?

  • He should have been shaqs mentor. Maybe shaq would have been a better FT shooter..

  • @WaTTzas if sabonis would have had shaq as a mentor maybe his achilles and knees wouldn't have been shot 6 years into his pro career. shaq was at the top of his game for nearly 15 years.

  • @fnyman14 Those achilles are a different story.. Believe me.

  • Sabas was always amazing :)))

  • during nba games he sometimes didn't even jump when taking a 3. same as sam perkins towards the end of his career. gotta love that.

  • Arvydas....Sabonis!!

  • automatic =)

  • omg 10 3 points in a row !! Sabonis is a legend !

  • childs play

  • Impressive!

  • 10 3s in a row. Shaq only got 2 in his carrer :D

  • what the hell is up with the ufo sounds

  • damn! I can't even do that!

  • the loss of his knees just makes his jump shots look very weird and that just makes the swishes even more amazing.

  • najlepszy europejski center w historii kasza

  • BRAVO, ARVIDAS

  • 10 in a row ;DDD Da best ;D

  • @TheShubi learn to count

  • pzdc centras kaip meto troicus :D

  • Love this player, love hes games! I never soo better center then Sabonis. I remember him forever ;)

  • he is onfire

  • one of the best centre basketballers on earth and what do you expect

  • OK, so is there a fundamental basketball skill that this guy wasn't amazing at??

  • Omfg?

  • Is there any center who can do this nowadays?

  • shaq maybe?:D

  • One of the best hands in history of basketball

  • Nice!

  • European big man players are much more skilled than Americans

  • Comment removed

  • @174HB thats true, american players with that height work more on their post game then their jumper. coaches out here (in the U.S,) work on one trait with those players nd thats to utilize their height

  • But really ask Shaq to do that lol. Of course Shaq is way overrated.

  • A healthy Sabas would be a much better pick than Shaq. What 7'3" guys have that kinda touch? And yeah he did play a young healthy Shaq quite well, and 10 good minutes of help from another big center and Shaq would have folded. Sabas was too worn down to wrestle a 350lb shaq. Too bad they never got to play basketball against eachother.

  • they played eachother many times in NBA.

  • Sabonis began his career in his 16th and started as pg. Now he's center, so thats why he can play all around. Good passes, well seeing arena-pg skills. His skills.

  • shaq carrer stats and so on cause of his body, he is very tall , very big weight and so on,all he does on the court its just cause he got power and body like that,Sabonis played like he did cause he was hard working and skilled center.

  • Finesse.

  • Look at the karma Shaq faces today. Sabonis with busted knees and no mobility still played a prime Shaquille Oneal better than any other center. Now look at Shaq, he sucks, Sabonis was better with more injuries at this stage in his career. Sabonis was actually a talented player unlike Shaq who couldn't make a free throw and camped in the key for 10 seconds every play.

  • i would still take sabas.

  • best player ever in the world!

    Litvanija kosarkaski carevi.

    Pozdrav od Makedonija

  • sabonis was always an underrated player

  • are you fucking kidding me? he is known for being the best player to come from another country to the US. GTFO of here

  • I meant that he was good, but never noticed. you GTFO of here.

  • there wont be better centre in Lithuania or europe or even world he is the legend. Have a look when he used to play for CCCP lol when he was about 23 i swear to god it is most increadible player ever

  • Sabonis was the most complete center ever. There is no way that he isn't one of the best.

  • Is there anyone shaq didn't pound on?

Most fans in the nba dont remember him, thats true, but the players sure do. Anyone who played against sabas knows what this "clown" brought. Steve Nash, Scottie Pippen, Bill Walton, the admiral & even your boy SHAQ have all said he's the best passing center.

    BTW kobe is a rapist.

  • your freakin O'neal cant even shoot free throws so be quite and btw if u put sabonis in age 23 and shaq in 23 i bet u everything i got sabonis would have him with his left hand...

  • did he miss or what in this video? i just regret like everyone else that he cudnt play in NBA in his 20s.

  • Sabonis!

  • Now imagine the Blazers Sabonis with great athletism and you get the pre-injury Real Madrid Sabonis. Kareem, Chamberlain, the Dream and Russell are the only centers worth being mentioned in the same sentence as Arvydas (Maybe Shaq in terms of dominance, but no way considering skills).

  • Sabonis sin la lesión del Tendón de Aquiles de 1987 había sido el mejor jugador de Basket de todos los tiempos. The best player in the world!

  • Nothing but Net!!

  • When he was teen, he playded in PG position. Then he learned shoot 3pts, dish beauty assists, handle the ball. When he was growing up, he grew very fast to 2m.20cm, but he didn't forget PG skills. He was universal player

  • Sabonis was awesome, sexiest fuckin passing center in NBA HISTORY, thats right folks, this guy was legit. Too bad we didnt get him in the league till he was +30yrs/old. He had the green light on 3's, I remember him bangin'em out like it wasn't shit.

He's not MYvydas, he's not YOURvydas, he's ARVYDAS!!! -Stuart Scott.

  • I wanted to give you a thumbs up, but it was Craig Kilborn that came up with that, not Stuart Scott.

  • ask shaq to do that!

  • or even yao

  • @warheart999

Good luck, he can't even make a free throw

  • @warheart999 newer

  • @warheart999

ask sabonis to win 4 championships haha ;)

  • @kobenbagreat have you ever seen a young and healthy Sabonis play some bball?

had he stayed healthy he would have won rings

  • @kobenbagreat look at sabonis profile and look at shaq's :)

  • @RomsheNBA

    i know right ;)

  • a perfect example of an all-around basketball player.. this Lithuanian had it all except a lengthy nba career

  • nice

  • I LOOOOVE that NET

  • mustang mat vashu, vot eto diavol....

  • Without 30kg and 2 sane legs, the best player ever

  • omg he was the best 3 point shooting center

  • WOAAAA!

  • lithuania rules sabonis the best

  • lithuania rules sabonis the best

  • HE OURVYDAS!

  • thats a real player..

  • I used to watch him a lot at Real Madrid and he was bloody good at 3 pts. What the hell, he could do well everything :)

  • most of the 50 greatest nba played couldn't do this. like shaquille o'neal ;)

  • and pass like him.
