Being that this is a dance team, they are in sync for most of the routine, which is a great thing to have for a dance team. Although the choreography is tired and has been seen over and over again, I would recommend for the choreographer to try different music and moves....overall, satisfactory performance.

This dance routine did not impress me at all. From the beginning to the end, I was so bored the entire time. My least favorite aspect of this dance was that i could literally see the counts of 8 throughout the entire dance and that is not good at all. The energy level of the dancers was that great as well and the music was very typical of high school dance team comps as well. I hated this piece!! No creativity at all!! No offense to all, just my opinion.

What "nationals" was this? Gotta say you gave it a great try. But it's time to up the level. Make it clean, tight. Bring WI & the mid-west up to the level of the highly competitive. Is this supposed to be hip-hop? Funk? Sometimes it helps to study authentic styles of hip-hop when choreographing. Keep on moving forward!

No offense was intended. With good intention I mean "great try" and "keep moving forward". I am a recently retired dance team judge at the national level. The dance caught my eye. I liked the show, just want to see the Mid-West raise the bar! Absolutely wasting my time instead of getting work done :) Ya.
