As a product it really works, so why is there no distribution in the UK yet? I shall get one, but not from the States with about £24 import duty tax whacked on top of £24 postage, not once, not twice, not ever!
I'm using mine for recording at home. The wall sound was annoying me, but with Pedal Juice, that's no longer an issue. Sound is perfect no matter how many pedals I hook up to it.
@sexyduck69 If you buy a daisy chain cable then you could hook up several. I no longer have this (gave it away in a competition) so I am unsure of the exact amount of ma you can hook up to it.
@johnnyatomic1 Pedal Juice can absolutely power that pedal. Pedal Juice outputs in 9 volt, but it can put out 2000 mAs an hour if needed. To compare, a single 9 volt might only hold 100mAs (and depending on the brand, it could be 30mAs). So it would be a cake walk for Pedal Juice to power the pedal you talk about - and it would power it for hours and hours.
@Wallimann Can't wait to see your review on it too! Makes me want to start a youtube channel to have things like this sent to me so I can review them and have fun with them ^.^
One quick question.. When you use like a daisy chain, does it divide the battery life evenly throughout the pedals? or Is there no loss in time, and it just loses signal as it passes through the pedals?
@WoWandMetalFTW The more pedals you are powering the quicker the power draws. It should provide around 50 hours for one pedal, so if you are using five pedals you should expect that time to be under ten hours, still long enough for a gig! and it recharges in around 3.5 hours.
There is no loss of time while using a daisy chain. And Pedal Juice is made in such a way that the power is accessible until there is no charge left in the unit - you can use every drop of the 2000 mAs everytime you play, and then charge it up and do it all again.
Just to clarify - Pedal Juice has produces no line noise, "no hum". Each time you power off pedal juice, it will sound like you just put a brand new 9volt in your pedal. In other words - it will sound perfect.
Seems like a handy tool in the arsenal of win, have to say the price surprised me when you first mentioned it but it's all relative I suppose, though I don't think too many people use batteries live (kind of unprofessional, like you said :p)
Also, not having the noise is great, that always bugs me about usual power supplies.
@MrKokss Thanks mate! I think not many people use batteries because of some of the problems I highlighted, and this gadget fixes those problems in my opinion!
I will definitely be using the pedal juice on boards of no more than four pedals that I take to smaller shows. Also it can power those mini marshall amps for several hours which is great when travelling.
At least using this live saves an extra plug socket! haha
I tried to put the link in to the UK distributor, but it seems that YouTube doesn't like that...
So, here is the name:
BatteryCity(dot)co(dot)uk
Enjoy the power, kid.

Oh, and one more tiny thing...
Pedal Juice is now widely available in BLACK.
I think it's pretty gorgeous in the new color!

I always like your reviews.
And you're right on with this - changing a battery on stage sucks and I "paid" for mine in 9volts already.

@SheShredsIt Hey cheers, glad the reviews are helpful. I really need to try and do reviews and that more regularly.

will it power a pedal that uses TWO 9v batteries?

Can you use the 'Pedal Juice' while charging it?.. Wondering if it could be used as a cheap 9V power supply for a pedal board?..

Are there any power supplies that give no hum whatsoever (apart from the juice^)? I need to replace the hum-tastic VS One Spot!
Conor4049 1 year ago
@Conor4049 There will always be hum but as far as I am aware there are no mains powered supplies that give off as little hum as a battery.

@Adji87 Ah right, cheers man - I now see the attraction to the Pedal Juice.
