  • 0:55 lol he had his head down like he was going somewhere

  • @adyclipper

Ya...when you get up into the HP range that this bike made, it can get crazy sometimes even on the dyno...

I never posted the video of the run on this bike when it BLAZED the tire going from 6500 rpm to 12K RevLimit almost instantly...YIKES...

He is also scooting back to add weight on rear tire ;)...

  • Hello everyone. Congratulations on the bike.

what changes you made to the carburetor to function?

I am doing a zx9r but the carbs need to make changes? What are they?

    If anyone knows answer thanks

  • @BIKERS904

It only takes simple jet changes...

Install a 10mm OD Pitot Tube through the Charge Tube that has a 8mm hole facing towards the turbo...

Connect hoses from the Pitot Tube to the Carb Bowl Vents to pressurize the bowls when boosting...

  • Thats would be scary , but fun .I have a 01 dyno at 132 + hp and a 06 zx1400 putting out 172 hp .

  • lmao whats the point in this if you cant drive it?

  • @cliov106

Dean "Drove this Bike" VERY well...that's what Boost Controllers are for...max boost is only used in the top gears...

Unless someone has info to the contrary...it was the 2nd quickest ZRX on the planet ever raced on a any Dragstrip...2nd only to the HighDollar Muzzys ZRX ;) :)...

  • @cliov106

What swing arm is that ZRX running...kinda looks like an extended FZ1?

  • @jburgess5

    JMC swingarm...made in England...

He ended up extending it more and cutting the UnderBlace off so the DrySump Oil Tank would fit...

  • hi can you give me some advise on tuneing my bike its a zxr400 that i have turbod with blow through cv carbs my email is tim_blair(at)hotmail.com (you can see it on you tube if you search zxr400 turbo)

  • Dude when you claim to have world Land speed record´s PLEASE Show the times achieved in those races with the official and proper time papers.

  • @fruchttragend

That's not why I posted the video but I will copy some stats when I find the time...I'm helping tune a ProStreet Bike right now ;) :)

  • Did you say it had STOCK rods, with 400+hp?

  • @kawturbo1

    No...it has Carrilo Rods

  • 2-3K if you do it...

3-4k if you "have it done"...

Dean bought some of his parts on EBay...CHEAP!!!

  • my old GPZ1000RX would cost roughly what to get twice the power out of her?

  • Well shit,I was going to ask what the hell you can do with it but I see you answered all thoughs kinds of questions nicely! Great bike!!!!! Stay safe!

  • @MrNapalm138

    Thanks...

Dean had lots of fun on this bike but he sold it...

Now he has a 400+ HP ZX10 that he has set several speed records on including 218+mph at Bonneville... :)...

  • @kcadby Damn Im jellous! Im too damn fat to have that kind of fun on a bike but I get around good on my old Road King hahahaha I road my cousins CBR 1000 and all the girls laughed at me !!! It was a fun ride though! 400+ is insain!!!!

  • sound's like a cpu speakn

  • they where super cool

  • wow I would not sit on that with out heavy duty head studs and bolts,,,holding the head on with that boost, mean machine !!!!

  • Stupid. Pointless

  • @driftartist

This ZRX is one of only two on the planet to run LOW 8-second 1/4 mile times and WIN a World Finals race...

    What is pointless about that???

It has also set set Land Speed Records...pointless???

  • Yeah, I'll probably do the work with a buddy so that will help save. I'm ok with used as well. lol Any idea what the factory internals can handle?

  • What does a set up like this cost? I have an 03 1200 I'm looking to boost at some point.

  • @erutz5

You can turbo a bike for as little as $2,000-$2500 if you do all the work yourself...

I call Dean the "King of Ebay" because he probly didn't have more than $4,000 in turbo, engine parts and everything else it took to make this much power...I don't think anything was bought new...

A LOT of "bang for the bucks"...

  • wow blowing thru fcr's was that a bitch to tune or what

  • @inteligentvtec

It was actually as easy as any other bike I have worked tuned...just had to order the right jets...

  • 30 psi! :)

  • Very impressive,
