Reason requires rationality, and in order to make a rational decision you need evidence. The point is that we have physical evidence, you don't. We know that reason requires the willingness to be wrong every once and a while. I know that my views aren't 100% correct all the time, I compromise. Religious people need the comfort of an idea that can't be tested because it can't be refuted. You never need to change, your views always remain the same. Truth? You pervert the meaning of the word.

I'm afraid science is mostly in spite of christianity. The church persecuted many endeavors into science and discovery (simple things like the theory of gravity and the use of electricity). Sadly, they still do this, like with the theory of evolution... not that it stops most people anymore. The churches influence still holds sway over many issues, but as far as science, most people laugh when the church tries to dabble in it.

Reason requires rationality, and in order to make a rational decision you need evidence. The point is that we have physical evidence, you don't. We know that reason requires the willingness to be wrong every once and a while. I know that my views aren't 100% correct all the time, I compromise. Religious people need the comfort of an idea that can't be tested because it can't be refuted. You never need to change, your views always remain the same. Truth? You pervert the meaning of the word.

I'm a Deist and still hold to the ideas that I put forth. Reason requires a willingness to be wrong. Religion forces people to abandon reason in favor of blind faith.

theistic epistemology & claims can't be defeated by autonomous opinions and personal experience, nor by empiricism since they examine the mandatory preconditions that make human experience intelligible.
since the laws of logic are necessary to make experience intelligible, one can't examine mere experience to undermine laws of logic considering intelligible experience presupposes laws of logic. thus A can't be A & Non-A at the time/way. God alone furnishes the preconditions

God has full aseity and He grounds everything. There must be something that brings all the diversity together and is the foundation for the laws of logic, universals, changeless forms/laws and moral law. Kooky hard-shelled atheism cannot provide these conditions.

I'm glad you admire your imaginary friend so much, but why do you suppose that we atheists cannot use logic? It is, after all, illogical to attribute so much to a being for whose existence there is exactly no evidence.
