i have a quick question about this song. i want to know lke what the meaning behind it is, because when my dad passed away he left me a cd that had a note tht said to listen to track 9 and it was this song. so any please help me out. thanks
That sucks.Sorry about your dad.This song is about someone like a kid and when his parents promised to play with them,but didn't,but it's for the better like they had to make money or something.This song comes from a mother's/father's point of view,like them talking.
@littlesport81 sorry to hear that. but i think Jeremy popoff wrote this song for his son sort of apologizing for being away on tour for long but explaining why and hopes he will understand that he's doing it all just to make his life as good as possible.
Make me think of my dad being away in the navy and how i hope he felt
