  • i do not know why people say that the tanks in the Ga Aquarium are "too harsh" for all the fish and mammals... it is NOT! they are fed everyday, each of their tanks are specifically a certain temperature, they get cared for, and they sense our love when we look at them, especially the sharks and the whales and ESPECIALLY the dolphins. they like the attention. if anything at all the Georgia Aquarium is HEAVEN to them! so no, they are perfectly content!

  • Forcing dolphins and whales—who in nature would swim many miles every day—into barren concrete tanks at SeaWorld is pretty much like forcing you to live in your bathtub. Would you be happy living in your bathtub? Nope—I didn't think so. I think it's safe to say that a rubber ducky is the only animal that belongs in a bathtub.

Dolphins and whales at SeaWorld need YOU to raise awareness about this.

  • swimming with the whale sharks is amazing, well worth the money

  • it seems a bull shark, not tiger shark!

  • Now that's some big teeth

  • i was there yesterday

  • Bite something already!

  • wow i am going there on May 26,2011

  • I hope you feed him daily otherwise you're fish are going to have problems.

  • That shark has a sore. Better get it looked at, before it gets infected.

  • the glass might bust

  • BTW thats not a underwater cam. There in a tunnel. I thought that was unique on how they did that.

  • i'd love to be an animal in an aquarium, bored to death my whole life

  • That shark sure is passing up a whole lotta prey!! Must be one of the side effects of being in captivity, he's just waiting to be fed..

  • Well that shark looks friendly doesn't it?!?!!!!

Lol when we visited the Chattanooga TN aquarium when the diver went behind a rock and waved at the people a shark came up and was staring at him,The diver quickly left after the shark swam away.It was acting like he was going to attack him lmao!

  • check my video out of the Georgia Aquariums whale shark tank, I made it with splice. I cant wait for HD output, the video will look so much better!

  • The Music is perfect for this Video!

  • If you guys pull up the song rich girl by hall and oates and play this video IMMEDIATELY after starting the song, it makes a beautifull effect

  • how do you guys make sure every fish is fed evenly? i mean theres so many fishes in there, that you cant do feeding fish by fish right.

  • that thing look like a great white

  • I must admit, this is the best place in the world that I've been to.

In every corner there's something to look at!

    I'd rate this aquarium 5/5(:

  • uuuuuummmmmm idk what this is but its cool

    lol

  • what kinda shark is that

  • @thislittleaznboy Sand Tiger Shark.

  • i am visiting you guys in two weeks and can't wait ^^ do you happen to have bamboo sharks??

  • I know sharks aren't evil, I'm just scared of them because they will eat you. THEY WILL!

  • @SymmetricPanda alot of people are scared. they have the ability too but most of the time dont.they are very curious animals and are afraid of u probably.

  • lol 1 of the most violent sharks is 1 of the most peasefull.. lol

  • Have a look at my videos

  • I'm not sure an aquarium should be promoting the shark stereotype with that music. I'm a scuba diver and I love sharks.

  • @GNRHexen Most people like sharks because of there scary nature not cause there scuba divers.

  • A white shark wouldn't be good for the BIG aquarium because they don't fit with the whale shark I think

  • I saw that guy in person yesterday, not to scary.

  • I find it fascinating that the little fish completely surround the shark... very interesting.

  • Is this in the same Tank as the "Diving With Gentle Giants" Takes place??

  • It is, so guests get the opportunity to see all of the animals in the exhibit, including the sharks. But dont worry, our guests are never in any danger, and we have safety divers in the water at all times.

  • @JIstudios no because tiger sharks arent gentle giants and they forgot the bigmouth shark :)

  • Wow thats awesome! Don't the shark eat the other fish............?

  • The exhibit is designed to be a natural environment, so occasionally, a shark will prey on smaller fish. It shows that they are comfortable in this environment and are continuing with their natural behaviors.

  • how big is this aquarium?

  • The Georgia Aquarium is the world's largest aquarium with over 8 million gallons of water throughout approximately 60 exhibits!

  • do u guys have great white sharks?

  • No great white sharks here!

  • Actually, that shark has an angry face LOL.

  • scary shit

  • isuruspaucus - Thank you for your feedback. The music is to engage users, not exploit fear of shark.s At the Georgia Aquarium, we educate people about the true nature of sharks & work to discredit ideas that sharks should be feared. However, when we use music similar to Mozart, people tend to lose interest and move on. By using music that engages them, we hold their attention & drive them to our web site, where we educate them about sharks.

  • I just can't believe the official Youtube account is using some parody of bad B-movie music in order to exploit the fear of the sharks 0__0 !

Come on, we should be hearing some Mozart or Massive Attack to accompany the grace of this creature.

  • Thank you for the comment & for spread ing the message that sharks shouldn't be feared. • I must admit that by attracting people with the fascination caused by the fear, you have more chances to "catch" them and inform them. As far as I remember my first contact with a shark was "Jaws", and it gave me the thirst to know more about them ("how not to get killed by a Great White in my bathtub")

I understand It's all about marketing and communication, the most important is indeed that you provide education and knowing... and BIG SHARKS WITH BIG TEETH IN A BEAUTIFUL AQUARIUM ^^

  • And also I must admit you made me STFU ;-)

  • Hah that last shark had herpes..

  • good 1 hehe

  • whats with the music its like im starring in a JAWS movie

  • thats pretty neat

  • hey y dosent the shark rip the fish around it 2 shreds?

  • The staff keep them well fed!

  • for the fishes sake i hope so!

  • the music made it fkn scary!

  • I have a question is it true that no aquarium has a great white shark and why?

  • They have tried, but either the great white will either stop eating since its getting feed to, also they get really stressed out being in the tank. They either die or re released back. I believe that longest great white shark was held for 5 days only.

  • The longest one that was in an aquarium was for 6 1/2 months, at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

  • Monterey keeps getting new ones. The recently released one, last year and were supposed to get a new one a couple of months ago.. Great whites have huge territories and being captivated in a generally "small" tank with a bunch of other sharks makes it stressed.

  • i like how sand tigers lips curl outwards letting you look at their teeth

  • lmao the music lead me to the shark eating one of the fish

    but then i was like....no

  • It's a sand tiger shark., spear fisherman should leave them alone. They look dangerous but harm noone

  • omg im diving with those sharks this year or the next! its an aquarium cage dive with them. im soo excited.

  • They have now joined the club of seemingly every aquarium ive been to sand tigers wow

    ...I still love it though

  • i wonder how the people thatwork there clean the atnk s.9must be scat=ry)

  • Why is somebody asking about the Tiger Shark. This isn't a Tiger Shark. This is a Sand Tiger Shark. There is a huge differece.

  • I wonder where you get these guys, I hope our Zoo (Henrey Dorley?)

Makes another huge tank as the rumors say D:

  • This video is awesome! The sharks at the Aquarium as so cool! Thanks for sharing!

  • Stop deleting my comments! Change it, or deal with it:

"The music to the video is a terrible choice!!! What image of this gentle [!] shark will this give to your kids? Aren't you supposed to educate them properly about sharks and try to get rid of irrational fears? This animal is gentle, but you seem to want people to judge a book by its cover. Shame!"

  • wouldnt da tiger sharks try and eat da other fish?

  • Actually, the sharks are really well fed by our biologists, so they don't have the need to eat the other fish.

  • That is AWESOME:)

  • Another amazing video of a magnificent animal/fish. Thanks

  • Thanks for watching! Hope you can see them in person sometime! They're amazing to watch.

  • My pleasure, it would be wonderful to come see the Aquarium. I am sure they must be amazing to watch. You guys are really lucky. Not sure if I would ever have the opportunity to come there though, but you never know, thanks

  • Gorgeous! I can't believe how much I'm missing out on! I want to go SOO bad!
