God how stupid can people really be? Will they ever learn that its how you treat a dog that makes him what he is!. Common sense helps too. I have a 10 month old Doberman, and hes a big softie. One of the reasons I got him is for his image, because the amount of break in's in my area is increasing at an alarming rate, However, he is an indoor dog,reared with my young children and treated with love and respect.Hes not trained to kill anyone, but he is a deterrant..I am a Dog lover.

The lad who rang in at the start, he could have at least done some research on the dog 1st, the American Bull Terrier is not a breed, It's the American Pit Bull Terrier.
Well, I've now lost all faith in Joe, he really doesn't know what he's on about here, he just wants to attach his face to a 'worthy' cause.
A funny part in this is they say a poodle won't be as danderous as a pit, well my poodle is by far more aggressive than any pit i've come across, and that's just how he is: very naturally protective. In comparison all the pits I've known have been very friendly. I'd actually be willing to bet that a poodle is more likely to attack you than any bull breed.
my 12 year old son was walking my pitbull and a little girl was afraid so she ran into a womens garden and the womenran out and said i wouldnt blame you being afraid of that dog sayings its a horrible looking thing and its banned and she said if she sees him on the road with the dog again shes ringing the garda but my son gad the dog on a short lead and she woulfd lick u to death shes a pure pet and the women that said she would ring the garda was taking pictures of them because they wer messin
Its these fools that have the dogs that should be banned from having them if they have to get a dog licence to get these breeds then they can be vetted to get them before they are allow to have them. Ban fools not the breeds.

i have a pit and she has been raised in a loving family home,i've had pits in the past and they have always been loved and have been wonderful family pets...
