Several police precincts around the country have refused to remove peaceful protestors, and others although have arrested people have refused to get violent when they do because they see using violence to arrest peaceful people for a misdemeanor crime as disruptive. Just because they are cops does not mean they love their country more than any other citizen, they are free to join the movement if they so choose.
