That may sound naive, but--although they ignore any substantive arguments against the war and especially from veterans, like Iraq Veterans Against the War--you know those bastards love controversy.

It's scary how much sense Mr. Bacevich makes when referring to lessons we should have learned from the past. Equally scary is how most people "just don't give a &$#t" about the current state of our foreign affairs. Bravo, Mr. Bacevich! I hope that someday soon more people will understand what a mess we're in.
