@Chumpster1981 Lots of Android phones have nice on-screen keyboards, and many have Swype. You can always go to the Android Market and download a different keyboard... I think there are a few free keyboards to download. Of course, you can also get an Android phone with a physical keyboard, something that's unavailable with the iPhone.

@Smurfadelis The EVO 4G has an excellent on-screen keyboard, with big buttons. It's easy to use, so texting on it should be easy. I don't remember if the EVO 4G has Swype, but you should be able to add Swype if it's not already there. Once you get the hang of it, Swype makes writing faster and more accurate.

i seem to have alot of problems with the apple products, which is why i am switching to the evo with sprint. Iphone's seem to always crash on me. Also iphone has a problem with running apps in the back ground, meaning each app is going to slow you down bit by bit. i opened all apps to see once and it was terrible.

I had the evo 3g for a year and I have had the evo 3d for about a month. To me the 4g was one of the top phone during its time and the evo 3d is much better. Both are great phones. I am very happy with both so far to this point. I have own the iphone 2g, and 3gs and at the time before I knew about android Iphone was the best and I still think the ios is better than the windows os.

the evo 4g has so much to see on the home screen. weather time, all the things you need at a quick glance. with the iphone, you have to wait for it to load the app you want to use, and then it tells you. and dont get me started with facetime. its probably the most annoying app i have ever used in terms of video chatting. it doesnt show ur picture if you exit from the app to do something. and the iphone doesnt have flash like the evo and the evos faster. evo came before the iphone and its better.
