You know? I really wish I had a computer as good as your's, I'm still stuck with my laptop, and the only improvement is that I have a second monitor, and a 2TB WD drive.
@DToddRemix I do know, and that's why I was thinking about making an entire vid to make you jealous. I've since decided not to. Anyway, it's not as great as you think. There are problems with it that you probably wouldn't be able to manage. I won't get into details about it right now though... As far as this game goes, It isn't really that impressive. You could probably run it on your laptop just fine. Btw, I found out a 32" TV just isn't good enough to do video editing =(. So now I suffer.
@JimmaWetcha I mean being able to play a game, and record at a reasonable framerate, when I record games, it's around only 15 at the best, usually below 10.
@DToddRemix Good point; I play, record, and watch at 60hz/ 60fps. The recording was stored as an AVI file from Fraps. After editing, my best output option was only mp4. I encoded it as 1280*720 60fps Progressive Scan, 44.1khz aac stereo audio @ 320kbps, and the video @ 20mbps just because I can lol. Oh, and the vid codec I use is h.264. I'd like to use Mkv as my container, but Sony Vegas doesn't allow it. No big deal there.
@DToddRemix You can still try to record at a decent framerate. I don't know if you have Windows 7 anymore, but I'd suggest Disabling all visual theme stuff in computer properties, then use the resolution you'd like but with only a 16-bit color scheme. After that, use process explorer to close all unneccessary background tasks, and set the priority of the game to real time. It would also probably be wise to disconnect from the net, and either close your AV, or put it in game mode.
