i never played latin piano professionally but i've been around amazing latin jazz pianist for a while. they all tell me what's up. oh, and yes, they're from brazil.
i feel ya on the drummer thing. but check your upbeats, they're rushed quite a bit. i do the same thing that's why i noticed it. playing montuno's are very demanding and require rhythmic precision in order to sound "dance like." good job, check my videos if you have time.
I've got a two hundred year old piano in my basement that my land lady tryed to get me to take out. Half the keys are sticky and its infested with cobwebs. The old house owner build over the piano and its impossible to take it out with a controlled work package. Diagram of the piano and replacement part for all the screws. I think she thinks she is going to sell it for alot of money...
=O that's crazy ! I play piano, but I don't have one.. or take lessons, lmao. I can't even read music for that matter, but hey, I've managed to spit out "1000 miles" by Vanessa Carlton, so that's not bad C= what grade are you in?
it's never too late to learn to read music! it's not absolutely necessary, but it can help open some doors for you musically. (you obviously have a good ear already, so why not teach it some new tricks?)
Wow! Thank you!

Very nice. Now that you've had a couple of years to practice this style, how about an updated version?
