One question though: You suggest 3 minutes low, 2 minutes high in the beginning, and then say do 6-8 rounds... so wouldn't that put that well above the 20 minutes you say it shouldn't go over?
I'm from Singapore. I had been trying to lose weight.
I did steady state cardio for 1+ year & I lost about 3kg and plateau....then I did some research and switched to the interval training method & lost about 12kg in the last 3.5mths.....
HIIT definitely works.... except sometimes I get frowned upon by others in the gym....I guess people find the burst of going fast & slow & all the panting & gasping for air irritating & distracting to them...haha
@Chrisle6969I i read this comment it made me laugh, I can so relate.....I get looked at too when I go hard sweating and huffing ....but i dont give a shit ....as long as you are acheiving what you want ...thats allllll that matters
Doing cardio, eating healthy, but not losing weight? It doesnt matter how healthy you eat, if youre taking in more calories than youre burning off., you wont lose weight.If you put your body in a caloric defecit, you can eat WHATEVER you want, and lose weight, without ANY exercise. If you incorporate exercise, you lose more weight, more fat. PERIOD!! It comes down to...EAT LESS, MOVE MORE.

Blake-Yes, you need to eat healthy to see results. Fat-loss is 85% diet-15% exercise always.
Good news is the better you dial in your eating the faster you'll see results.
