Just to let some of you know, in episode where it shows pics of all the doctors, it puts all there names in the credits cause they have too. Off that subject: I prefer the new opening (don't hate...) but this was the best ending theme, 100%!
The title sequence to Doctor Who is rubbish these days. They should never have changed the logo and sequence it from the early Tom Baker episodes. It was a real design classic. The Steven Moffat DW logo is slightly better than that weird elipse shape that looks like a light feature you'd find in a tacky fitted kitchen from MFI, but still nowhere near as good as it was in the 1970s.
hello my name is liam hutchings i am makin a docotr who episode and i was wondering if you could get me a clean version of these closing credits many thanks liam
Actually, this IS how the credits used to appear from Pertwee onward - the "frame by frame" rather than the "scrolling" on in NuWho case, "zipping." I agree though - I really wish they would return to the frame by frame format - much more easier to read.
It is. It was after a silly rule was passed to shorten end credits to BBC programs. Just americanization (lol is that even a word??) if you ask me. Still these are to fast for me... End credits are never dyslexia friendly.... Haha!
BTW, if the Rani does return in future episodes of Who, would it be possible to put in these credits (btw, would the Rani be played by a different woman?)...oh and these credits are:
i hate the credits bbc do now cuz they go really fast and if i want to see who played such and such i always miss it because its too fast, hopefully they will slow it down a bit for the specials and for series 5
Is that a BBC policy? I HATE how modern tv networks don't appreciate end credits. It's bad enough that they typically will "squish" them to one side and then advertise some other upcoming show... but to think that the BBC themselves are stipulating the allowed length...
If all those people who work on this show (and others) didn't put in the effort, we'd not be seeing the show in the first place...
I think they are going to cut some of the names off the roll so it can go a bit slower and put the removed names up on the official website after transmission (heck, they may have already started doing this with Planet of the Dead!).
yeh i'd rather it be done like this the only problem is they could never fit everyone in. they could always do it this way and then post the full credits on the website or seomthing.
That is exactly how it should appear on BBC One! :) Except, the doctor who will return shoudl have been before the credits and the BBC WALES endcap should be at the end :)

depends who owns the copyright, the bbc might actually own copyright of the character
LuckyTardis 2 years ago
@LuckyTardis they also owned the doctor, though its rumoured that she may appear at the end of series 5 or the villain of the entire series 6

They can't slow them down due to they can only be 30 secs long. They are changing them for the DVD releases though :)
