Thank you so much for this video. I am studying Jiu jitsu and nothing has got my attention as much as this video. An excellent body control rutine for me to do on my own
I really wish they would have tought stuff like this in gymclass in elementary/high school. We literally just sat around. I never knew about this type of exercising or mma, krav maga, parkour, kettlebells, etc until I started watching youtube. These type of exercises are really useful and make you want to learn more. Now that I'm nearly 20 I'm finally getting to the level I could have been a while ago. I can finally do pull ups which was one of my goals for the past 2 years. I'm a girl btw =P
@AshSzafraniec Good for you! Lots of people seem to get left cold by school sports, or just don't find the right one, which is a real shame as habits formed at that age are really hard to break. But it IS possible, as you have discovered, by finding something that motivates and inspires.
It's hard to get something that will suit everyone, but I think schools should put physical fitness on the same level of importance as academic /social development as all these are important to be balanced.
@bigred121189 It's a session all in its own. Check out his website and look at his dvd's. Sonnon's exercises are so unique and challenging yet fun and enjoyable to do. I personally do flow-fit, intu-flo, and clubbells.
I bought a set of RMAX productions videos on flow fighting and leg fencing in 2001. Scott Sonnon just keeps getting more fluid and dynamic as the years pass. When this man speaks, or rather moves, I listen and watch. His clubbell training has almost completely replaced every other type of weighted exercise that I do. This man completely revolutionized my martial training.
These are fun to do, the guys at the gym I go to were like "wtf is that!". Can I just improvise these movments, or is there a set pattern I need to stick to for some reason?
Nice just gotta love the pistoldrills

There is a fluidity and grace in Scott's movements that are very much reminiscent of a skillful tai chi practitioner. Beautiful and amazing to watch.

kind of a "floor capoeira", add some aikido parkour and capoeira, and you probably wont have to worry about fall injuries ever in your life. :P
