Considering the number of stars out there, you could literally look at ANY spot in space and make out a "dipper".
The atmosphere is not perfect for human life at all. Pure oxygen at a proper pressure would have been better. Considering that's not what we have at all, it clearly isn't "designed" for humans.
Life doesn't make sense, from a designed viewpoint. If life is a design, why is it so completely retardedly shitty?

reading all the slurs i thought i might just say something. religion, culture, beliefs.... these are not things that should divide people or cause conflict. the pure diversity of beliefs is something to be celebrated...alot like how the world would be less exciting if it were only ONE colour. thats my opinion anyway.....

As for the scripture itself, Surah Al Ahzab 33:63-66, it talks about how virtuous it is for a man to marry a widow, supporting her when her husband cannot so I don't why you included that into your rant. As for 33:60-62, I know Arabic and I know my Holy Book and it does not contain the words "fire", "double", "torment", "fierce"

@pandstar Surah Al Ahza 33:60 - 62's translation is basically a reference to those who produce harm to those within the Holy City of Mecca - so those who have the intention to cause harm to the pious should be seized and slain which is fair because if you are looking to cause harm to innocent people especially then you should be captured and executed. The passage does not talk about hypocrites in general only the ones who cause harm - also, I have noticed that they used certain words

Hence, logic would suggest you are better off choosing a god and having some sort of chance at salvation (or whatever other religions call it) instead of pulling out of the race completely? As for the second part, it explains Pascal's rationale perfectly - you spend a whole lifetime believing God exists and if he does then great but if he doesn't then what does it matter, you're dead anyway

You are assuming that all possible gods care about whether you believe in them.
What if the god that does exist, rewards those of us that use the brain he gave us and find that 'he' just did not give us sufficient evidence & reasoned argument to justify belief that he exists? And he punishes those that decided to believe in one of the many (mostly Bronze age) deities with no evidence to support their belief?
Prove that that god is less likely to exist than any other.
