I use my th-d7 in the car s use the 12dc in, does this new radio have a 12v DC input ?

Could not wait anymore and bought a Yaesu VX8DR APRS HT... Anyway, if the kenwood provides the TMD710 features in a HT package i will surely change for the THD72 !

Does anyone know if the THD72 will be water or rain proof ? This matters to me, since i use HT mainly while hiking !

Finally we see an HT with internal GPS. I remember the day's of carrying around my TH-D7ag with along with a damn Garmin GPS-5 on the other side of my belt, just so I could report real-time positioning.

Man, I sure wish these had been out back then! Oh well, that's progress I guess. And of course now I'm broke in this fine economy . . .
