This is a great video! Baja is gorgeous. I have spent a lot of time in Ensenada this past year & grown weary hearing people in US States that are meth lab & puppy mill capitals talk down about Mexico & Baja when they have never even been to Baja. That is why I stared the you tube channel called "Happy Living in Mexico"

We spend a lot of time in Rosarito....and we love it. Never had a problem. Where else can you live on the ocean front for 1/10th of what you would pay in the states?

I've live in TJ all my live, unfortunately, there's some truth in "crazyrabbit's" comment, and I feel ashamed of it ... but the only way to beat them is not bribing the cops... don't be afraid, accept the ticket and pay as stated on the back of it, believe me, you will pay much less of what you give them or what they say you have to ! (They usually try to scare you ) It is the only way to beat corruption !! You can even request to se the judge, and he will understand the situation...

I have lived in Baja 33 years in Ensenada . . Have never been pulled over or experienced anything negative or been afraid, I am 79 years old. It really is a shame the perspective that Californians have about coming here. I love it here.

Everything is great once you get out of Tijuana!!!!! You will still get pulled over if you have a nice car in Tj and youuuuuu will payyyy a bribe. Even if you are completely follow the law. My advice, take a honda or corola, don't act like you have money and obviously don't show that you have it either. Just some advice from a San Diego local who travels to Tj, Rosarito, and Ensenada a couple of times a week.
