Anyone who sings about Orange Knickers having "power" are certainly in need of therapy. This woman is a loon and so are all those who think she is a great singer. She's just a demented lesbian with perverted notions who likes looking up other womens skirts to see what colour undies they have on. And god forbid if they are wearing "Orange Knickers"
@newbie2guitar = at least I am not a fruitcake singing about orange knickers having power. Or a fruitcake thinking its a great song and makes a defining statement. Pathetic.
@aeonflux67 Nah you aren't no.... You're just another person on this planet that doesn't understand metaphoric phrasing, and therefore must poke fun at it. Perhaps if you were able to transcend your own limited thought process things would be more clear. Belittling others for thing they understand you don't is in itself pathetic. I'm just saying.
@newbie2guitar = I know she is hiding behind the Guatanamo orange suits. All major American prisons use them. But that still makes her a lyrics pathetic. Sing about the power of terrorists in orange suits then if I am wrong. Not about orange knickers having power. Thats just a load of kinky shit she wrote while fondling herself.
@aeonflux67= Congratulations to you... for winning the International Destructive Intentionally Oblivious Toddler award. I hope it serves you and those adolescent views well sir.
@aeonflux67 .. That's amusing... I actually fully expect you to overdose behind some random 7/11. You know, seeing as you oh so effectively have failed at existence. I also find it interesting that you seem to be halted on sexual innuendo.. Is this because you don't get any? Well it's to be assumed with such a prepubescent attitude dude. Perhaps you should work on that.. Perhaps..
@aeonflux67 Actually, any adult mind would recognize a metaphoric phrase for what it is. Adolescents would not comprehend this, and decide to make up their own inconsequential meaning. Kinda like what you did there, but it's ok really.... Good luck with that,
@aeonflux67 I feel so sorry for you...you are the pathetic one wasting your time bashing those that enjoy this. Go enjoy your own music and leave us alone. You are the only one that can make you happy. Why are you even listening if you dislike so much? hmmm....?
@HerHighness24 I feel sorry for you. Following an obviously fucked up woman singing about orange knickers having power and actually claiming publicly you enjoy it.20 Does your wife know about this illness?
@raedavis76 You're a fucking assclown! I am the original radavis76, you sick fake scumfucker, not you, and you have N-O right to open your mouth! I don't answer to you or to your scumfucker thugs!
I'm just starting to explore Tori Amos' music and I plan on buying some of her albums very soon...I have loved what I have heard so far, and The Beekeeper...definitely sounds like a sweet like honey keeper for any CD collection. :-)
Oh, a new Toriphile in making :D Try "Scarlet's Walk" too, imho it's even better. And, if you also like darker and more electronic things, "from the choirgirl hotel"!
Yeah, my best friend (bless her heart) bought me The Beekeeper as a random present on Tuesday. I love it! So relaxing, I laid in my bed and just took the entire album in. Don't worry, Scarlet's Walk is on my list of Tori albums! I LOVE electronic music and I have considered Choir Girl as well...we'll see where the Tori explorations take me, but I am definitely enjoying The Beekeeper right now!
@SapphireAdams1 :) its amazing isn't it :) have you checked tori's interviews about the beekeeper on youtube? if not you will enjoy :D, i can't stop listenining to this song i guess cos i can relate to it now lol i always listen to her songs cos in some way i always relate to them :Dxx
Well, my best friend was kind and bought me The Beekeeper as a random gift. I personally, am enjoying The Beekeeper and haven't been able to take it out of my CD player. My best friend (in my opinion) gave me a great start to my collection. I guess it's just a matter of taste amongst Tori fans, I've read a lot of reviews about The Beekeeper, and a lot of Tori fans are mixed feelings about it. Some love it, some hate it. I love it. :-)
@DavisRetardus Do you ever shut up, you sick freak?! Leave SapphireAdams1 alone and stop bullying her or you'll wish a real-life black mamba was in the same room with you!!
@radavis76 N-O you SHUTUP you scumfucker. You are nothing but another failed impersonator of the real Ratchel Davis Retardus, aka me. And I will not burn in hell either, oh no I wont. You will burn in hell for harrassing MY friends, there will be no hell for real 100% transgendered women like me you freakpig.
@DavisRetardus No, YOU are the fake around here! There's only one radavis76, and you're talking to her this second! I don't answer to you because there is N-O such species as davis retardus! I'm already Paradise-bound when I die!
@SapphireAdams1 --- That is wonderful!!!!! I love the Beekeeper -- I love all of her work .. another album you might like if you love this one is Boys for Pele ~ there are so many wonderful songs. You should look of some of her B-sides too that are not on albums - such as Cooling, Upside Down, Honey, Here in My Head, Sister Janet ... there are so many! Enjoy ~~ xo
@SapphireAdams1 "Boys for Pele" is also very good and very strong, musically. It is quite different to the Beekeeper, but perhaps that's a good reason to explore it. =)
I love this song. Had the great good fortune to see Tori and Damien perform this in Dublin, probably in '05. Also got to meet her before the show. Wonderful. If not her best, this song comes very close; sinister and insistent, full of melodic menace. I don't think Damien's role in this song is simply 'backup'; they texture and layer the song for each other. I can't imagine it working better.
