Look for forests sponsored by 4x4 and offroading clubs. I have the same issue in the US, everything is private property. But there are some forests with service roads sponsored by local offroading clubs and it's all A OK.
the 1200 gs is such a heavy bike. its kinda strange to me that people would take a lesser bike like a yamaha enduro that really just a dirt bike. i have a yamha enduro, an older one. i'd love to get a bmw enduro

Thanks Glenn, in france it's also not allowed, we where in a private place. But the good ride is in sahara (see my other video).
