I quite like this unique approach to this song! Whistling in tune/key/pitch is a lot harder than it might seem (as I've done it, I can appreciate the hard work this must have taken!) Well done. I'd like to see this (whistling) done with alternating lines (like the song that goes, erm, "bom baba bom bom, bom baba bom bom" at a fast pace... yah! Anyways, hope there's more of these out there! Thanks for posting this!
I made a comment to a friend of mine that it'd be nice to have a whistling choir, and he argued that it would be too difficult to get the voices in tune, but I think these guys have done that wonderfully.
It is a little sloppy, admittedly, towards the middle where the notes are trailed too much instead of cut off, and it seems like one of the tenor voices is a bit too sharp, but I bet it's hard to control. Also, the really really high notes seem a bit strained.
omg just came on this page to read ur comment and got annoyed of the whistling, i don't like how the guy in the green shirt makes it look like he's bad ass, and omg unnecessary attempt at beat boxing in the middle. the whistling is interesting in the beginning and then gets annoying lol
Whoever thought it would be a good idea to do this as a whistle-a-thon should play chicken with a train. I thought it was gonna just be the intro, and i still wouldve made a negative comment about it, but no, ITS THE WHOLE SONG JUST WHISTLING - if your gonna watch this video note that and then click to another video on the right as quickly as you can! its just not worth it believe me, its more painful than it is artistic. See ya.
