Stephen, whatever happened to the tutorial idea? I have something I've composed with EWQL, yet it doesn't seem to have the "depth" and richness of your end result. I would very much like to learn from you some tips and techniques for enhancing the sound. I've carefully listened to many of your pieces, and I'm pretty sure i've identified some of the same EWQL instrument samples as you use. Unfortunately, the same instrument in the same key does not measure up in sound quality.
Wow. How are thos high legato-sustained violins called? Which library are they from? I guess Ive never heard such beautiful high strings in any library. Wow
Please let me bother you with a question. I wish to learn to compose like you do. I dont know a thing about music so it is safe to assume to start from basic music theory. But what after that? Please break it down in stages for me. Thanks!
Amazing subbed..

BTW, very nice score. I really like the development into the sweeping end part. Very professional and majestic sounding.

Nice composition
Why did you make double bass so loud?
According to any textbook about orchestration, double bass mustn't play the leading role.
About "tutti" at 1:32
Beautiful melody on violins and very simple counterpoint trick(I mean the cello part). Previously you created much more interesting polyphony

Great! Strings at 1:30 reminds me a little of the AOE 2 theme though.
