I remember having to play this on easy when I was young, I could never get past the 4th level if I didn't. Problem is, if you play on easy, you only get 5 levels and can't get the last 3. It just ends after you kill the robot.

only thing i do not like in this game is on 2 players, if one player is axel, other must be or old man, or woman or kid, there is not normal 2nd player deam it!

Dude that's not fair. You got 9 lives per continue. I got the genesis collection on ps3 and it only gives me 5 lives max per continue. This game is really hard, I could use the 12 extra lives.

i've always kinda wondered... why did they change Axels outfit from the white shirt and blue jeans.. to the outfit that Adam wore which was a yellow shirt and black pants...

From what I know, the US version was censored. And they thought that it'd be wrong to have Blaze wear red (even thought hat was okay in the previous 2 games) and changed her, Axel's and Skate's clothes.

The overly strict censorship was one of the flaws of the game.
