When i think if Green Day, i get butterflies. They are my idols, role models, heros, favorite, i really cant discribe my feelings for them. When i listen to their powerful songs, i do cry and i am not afraid to do so. I almost feel the meaning as it plays. They love their fans and i love them! Meeting them is definitly one of the things i have to do before i die. Green Day For Life! :)

I'm also a great fan of 'Jagged Little Pill' by Alanis Morissette. It's an such amazing piece of music from the start, til the CD stops! Yes, that's right people, there's another part after 'You Oughta Know' on track 13, incase you never knew. It makes her stories on the album complete & it's such an epic ending. Best female alum ever! No female artist will ever beat it, gauranteed! I always listen to my CDs in full!

Unlike with the traditional musical, the music of Coldplay is written by the performers! That's another reason why it's really raw (COLD). It's straight from the heart of Chris, the lead singer, in terms of the lyrics. Notice how COLDPLAY is just one word, instead of COLD PLAY, which would mean a performance of miserable music like Radiohead haha! Sorry Radiohead fans!

I'm a huge fan of Coldplay. One of the reasons I love Coldplay is that the records are like private shows for the listener. Every album is so entertaining from start to finish on a top-range sound system. There are full stories, and great musical expression of situations in a dramatised way. Abba is not for today's young generation! It's only okay to listen to Abba if you were a teenager in the 1970s, when disco ruled the world. In fact, all music pre-1990s is for a different older generation. The Beatles were amazing because of what was around, & the same for Abba. But ofcourse, the influence must be appreciated. Without influence, music wouldn't have evolved. But to be honest, the creators of all western music were black Americans of the 1950/60s.

I was never that fond of Green Day's music growing up. But a Green Day based musical, hmmm, very interesting indeed. I guess I'd rather go and watch the 'American Idiot' show than 'Mamma Mia', because the music of Abba sucks bad eggs! Yeah, I'll admit I did listen to Abba as a very young teenager, mainly through my dad, but now I can't stand them! Whenever I hear 'Dancing Queen' or 'Mamma Mia', I just cringe with disgust!

I guess it is similar to SA in some ways, what with the rock music, but AI has a totally different theme. It is groundbreaking, but in a different way that SA is groundbreaking.
