when I try to start my fire, I get my spark, my cloth catches, and then I just get a lot of smoke but no flame, any help?

NOt goot enough tinder, get some grass or birch bark and make a "birds nest" with the char cloth in the middle, the trick is to get the right tinder and get it fine enough.
