Yeah, you're not really the metalhead type eh? A lot of their audience are casual listeners who think Metallica peaked with the black album, whereas metalheads like myself see that album as a downward spiral. Personally, this is my favorite era of Metallica. Who cares if they weren't perfect or whatever, they were honest, angry, energetic, badass and truly metal-obsessed.
