@JohnMTrombone So do I... I've tried restarting the level, restarting my computer, using a different coloured portal, everything I can think of. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? It's really annoying since I can't progress in the game, and since I'm playing it for the first time on my PC, I can't start a new game at chapter six.

it is simple my lamer friend if you had paid attention to the video you would have observed that some the upper windows were broken out and you could have shot portals through these thus a clear path for your portals. Ergo, no bug, simply end user error

@electricsteve2007 Well as a matter of fact I did exactly as in the video, and I'm aware that others, who bought the game in the same period as I on steam, (while 50%), were having from the same problem. My portals did also hit the moving walls, but none of them made a portal. (I have solved the problem now by downloading a later patch on steam).

So, my lamer friend, not everyone is as stupid as you think.

Oh my god. When I kill a bunch of turrets, I look down at the pile of dead turret corpses and I feel like a bastard. When I redirect a discouragement laser to kill a turret, and I hear them screaming "It burns! Ow! I'm on fire!" I feel like a bastard. When I see those turrets getting tossed in the incinerator so I can escape I feel like a bastard. When a turret says it doesn't hate me after I've done all those things I feel like a BASTARD *sobs*

I thought that what must be done was that to portal the wall segments and portal another so the thermal discouragement beams will travel through the portals and slice the door open. I forgot that you can't portal moving objects.
