They had me and many of the crowd dancing ....They do some mean Ska too!..:-)))

  • Awesome sound my Chinese brothers!! Whether you think the drums are horrible or not. It's great to see how music can unite everyone, whatever culture. I'm loving the sound, and Long Shen Dao are coming to NZ this week can't wait to check them out. I like how they've got their own sound and are true to themselves, melding the reggae with their own traditional instruments. LOVE THEM!

  • because they aren't even playing the correct reggae grove, the hi hat is completley off and no one ever plays that with the hi hat durring reggae, its like a robot is playing the drums, theres no feel or anything.

  • @klwong14

please describe for the audience what is the correct reggae groove (without looking up Wikipedia), i'm sure there are people interested in your non-robotic knowledge and real-human feel for drums.

  • @WangDianshi

i live in hawaii one of the largest places to play reggae, im in a very successful ska regae band and take multiple lessons for drumming and have for 10 years, i know what the fuck im talking about, and by the way i am half chinese so im not being racist. this is horrible, fuck you

  • @klwong14 dude, you seriously have no idea what you're talking about

  • drums are horible....

  • @klwong14

Could you explain why the drums are horrible?

  • @WangDianshi

klwong14 is a fake 'chinese user', typical operative assuming fake asian, african, arab/persian, islamic, etc, identities and acting with self-hatred and malice to advance their western hegemony and shitty brand of 'freedom and democracy' and other propaganda lies.

  • 沉寂在 张巍先生淫荡的古筝声中。

  • those chinese must be smoking weed to

  • @droga187 What do asian people look like when they are "chink-eyed?"

not to be a bigot or racist or anything it's just a funny thought

  • @StinkyTaco a prof. came in to speak in one of my classes.. this is by far the most memorable speaches i have ever heard. he spoke of the unification of 1 race - the human race. he went on to describe the origins of humanity, of where we all originated from the same place. as we (humans) spread to diff lands we adapted or evolved based on our surrounding climates and such, which is why diff groups of people look diff.. anyways he sed the chinese eyes came from evolution from high mountains

  • @StinkyTaco (cont.) the eyes began accustoming to the harsh winds and fierce weather from the mountainous regions.. thus having them look the way they look.. their are also african cultures with the same "chinese" eyes due to evolution from desert like climates.. strong winds led to these eyes, as such as the original chinese culture.. this explanation is a very broad one, and is not meant to offend any people.. after all, it would be like offending myself lol

    God bless

  • @ayjntghost

actually the 'chinese-mongolian eyes' are more commonly described to be an evolution of living in snowblind conditions, such as the Inuit people of native north america and yakuts of siberia. although the popular theory is that we all come from africa, the chinese-mongolians-inuits-yakuts-etc, all became the indigenous dwellers of the far north and east beginning about 25,000-30,000 years ago. southern asians tend to have more rounder eyes, like most indigenous africans.

  • 雷龍神道隊蓋 樂!!!!!

  • Super stuff. We stumbled on this video and are sending applause from Oregon USA. I believe this band are authentic and feel the vibe.

  • Musically, while the core source is reggae, the group's music draws on rock, dub, hip-hop, world music, ska, electronic ,Ragga and many other forms of music for inspiration and includes parts for traditional Chinese instruments such as the "guzheng" (zither).

  • The lead signer feels that while the group are not Rastafarians, reggae music, like a warm breeze, is accessible to people no matter where in the world they come from. In the group's music, lyrics contain references to the understanding of love and spiritual freedom and include aspects of Taoism.

  • hey bro you seem to know a lot about the band. what are they called??

  • The dragon is the symbol of China. The gods are the source of their resolution, existence and power. The Tao ("the way") comes from the Taoist philosophy of Laozi and points out a certain road or way of thinking. The Way of the Dragon God, (literally: dragon, gods, "the way") is the synthesis of six uncomplicated, artistic, unaffected young people who happen to like the unfettered, free, lighthearted and borderless spirit of reggae music.
